I have been grooming my pets at Muddy Paw for seven years. In the beginning, the service was excellent, but as time passed, the service declined. I called to make an appointment for my pet, and the manager said my pet needed a shot, so I scheduled a vet appointment to get said shot. On the date of my appointment, the groomer said that I needed another shot for my pet and they couldn't groom my pet because of the manager's mistake. This is the reason why I posted this review.

I have a small 5 month old puppy and we were scoping out nearby places to go for when she needs groomed. I walked in on a Saturday morning and was never greeted or even had my existence acknowledged. Made eye contact with a groomer and someone at the register. Not even a polite little smile or head nod. Walked around the shop area, still nothing. Had a better interaction with a customer than the staff. After a few minutes I walked right out and went to another groomer. As a veterinary professional and local to the area, I will not be back, nor will I recommend them to clients.

I took my corgi to get his nails trimmed and was so impressed by the staff and the selection of products that I’m going to be switching my other two dogs grooming here. The staff answered all of my questions and were very thorough and I did not feel rushed. You can tell they really care about dogs and their customers.

I was a little apprehensive about the 2 hour behavior test that they do prior to boarding, especially since my dog is a very nervous one. But when I went to pick her up she was the most comfortable and well behaved with strangers that I have ever seen her. She sat patiently, relaxed, and quietly next to the staff member as she was being checked out… which was wild to me. She didn’t freak out when she saw me like she does at home lol which offended me a little. When she got home she was so relaxed and happy that I could tell she had a wonderful time. I actually boarded her for the first time this week and I would like to leave this review with a personal message to the staff: Thank you so much for taking such good care of my dog Bella Luna. She’s so nervous that I have been afraid to socialize her with other dogs, and she doesn’t behave well around guests at home. I immediately noticed how comfortable she was with staff members carrying her… she usually shakes like a leaf and barks with strangers, but I can tell that each and every one of you treats her with great love and care by seeing how she just chills with you guys.
