About Metro Pets
Metro Pets is a pet groomer in Natick, Massachusetts. It is listed at 28 Washington St, Natick, MA 01760, which places it among the local businesses of Natick that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Google also lists it under dog walker, pet supply store, pet trainer, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.
Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 9 am–6 pm. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is metropetsgrooming.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 67 reviews, which is a strong result for a pet groomer in Natick and suggests consistent service.
Natick is in Massachusetts, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Natick follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I'm a regular! Very few groomers will even take cats, and Metro Pets does a fantastic job with my very finicky girl. Really appreciate that they're so conscientious and careful with kitties as well as puppies.

NEVER TAKE YOUR DOG HERE. The groomer Ash did a horrible job and shaved my dogs stomach without communicating and checking to make sure that we were on the same page this left immense clipper burn and irritation on his stomach. this has never happened before and he has been groomed countless times by many different groomers. additionally this place is very overpriced for the services they provide. Do yourself, your dog and your wallet a favor and choose a different groomer

I brought my 8-month-old Maltese here for her very first grooming, and the experience was extremely disappointing. My dog had mats, but they did not bathe or condition her at all, which is a basic and necessary step for any proper groom — especially for a long-haired breed. Instead, they brushed out some mats and shaved only part of her body. They left her front legs, chest, neck, and head completely untouched. The areas they did cut were choppy, uneven, and poorly blended, making her look unfinished and patchy. They told me she “wouldn’t stay still,” but that doesn’t explain skipping the bath or leaving half her body undone. This was her first groom, and honestly the experience traumatized me more than her. I have friends who take their pets to professional groomers all the time, so I know what a proper grooming process should look like. I searched for a groomer on my own and chose this place, and I regret not looking at their reviews beforehand. They have some negative reviews and very few recent positive ones, which I should have paid more attention to. For $65, I expected a full, even groom and basic care, but that isn’t what I received. I’m writing this review to help other pe

We have been going to Metro Pets with our *super anxious* dog for years, and have always been so pleased with the results! Today we had our first visit from the Metro Pets Grooming van, and can’t say enough about how great it was. It definitely reduced the anxiety (for both of us!) and he came out of the van smiling ear to ear and perfectly groomed. Thank you!

It really, really hurts me to do this and we never ever write bad reviews. We love supporting small businesses especially cute little boutique shops like this one! But after two years of our family being loyal customers and to be very honest of amazing service and experiences, our main groomer left their shop due to managerial issues. Unfortunately we had no where to go, so we decided to give them one more shot… We brought our Xiao Xiao in earlier and had talked to the new groomer of the way we wanted it, showed many pictures of previous cuts and dropped him off. When we got back after an un-communicated expanded amount of time we were in shock! They had cut through his inner coat and was left with less than an inch of fur. They claim the notes had said that the previous groomer had used that short comb for his fur before but we were sure that it was never that short as we have pictures from all his cuts after his grooms. They said it was miscommunication of the cut, the service, the time allotted, the price of $95, I mean what went right that day? Just shortening the entire list of other things that just went wrong for us that day and the sheer displeasure of the communication a
