About Lucy's Lucky Dogs

Lucy's Lucky Dogs is a pet groomer in Brooklyn, New York. It is listed at 198 Graham Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11206, which places it among the local businesses of Brooklyn that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 7:30 am–3 pm. It is closed on Wednesday. Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 346 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pet groomers in Brooklyn.

Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Brooklyn is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I have been bringing my dog King here for over 7 years and I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else. They are reliable, patient, and genuinely care about the dogs they work with. King always comes back looking AMAZING and I never have to worry because I know he’s in good hands. They are very organized flexible when they can be and the whole process is always smooth. Get there early they popular for a reason! KING AND I LOVE YOUU ALL 🤍

Great looking dog afterward. Friendly staff. I warned a staff member that my dog bites because he’s in pain and has knots in his fur. His response was hilarious: “I bite too.” So I imagine they know how to deal with this so I don’t have to worry about my dog bitting someone. Highly recommended!

Took my Aussie here for the first time about a year ago and asked for a summer cut. Her vet told me not to do that again, because aussies are not supposed to be shaved because then they can’t regulate their own temperature. Took her back to Lucy’s today and told the man at the counter what the vet said, he was very dismissive and just said “yeah they always say that.” I was very specific about what they should do to my dog. No shaving. Take off about 2-3 inches and TRIM HER not SHAVE HER. And when he asked if I wanted to take her down to a “level 2” again like I did last time I said NO. Went to pick her back up and she was shaved down to the same length as the first time I took her here. (the level 2 that I specifically said no to.) Not sure how else I could’ve explained NOT TO SHAVE HER other than saying those words. Her paws are also clearly not trimmed or cut. Not worth my $120 at all. We will not be returning to Lucy’s or recommending them to anyone else.

Lucy’s Lucky Dogs did a really nice job with grooming. The staff was friendly, my dog looked clean and well cared for, and the whole visit felt smooth overall. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the timing was a little longer than I expected, but the quality of the service was still very good. I’d definitely come back.

I took my pup Champ here for the very first time and boy was I impressed! The staff was friendly, polite and very helpful. I recently took my dog back from a family member since he wasn’t being taken care of properly and immediately took him to be groomed as his hair very matted and he wasn’t being washed frequently. They assured me Champ was in great hands and the price surprisingly was very reasonable. I paid only $80 for a wash and blow out, low cut, nail file, ear cleaning and gland expression. I was very well pleased with their service. And it only took about maybe 2 hours give or take. They accept walk ins only and I was maybe fourth in line arriving there at about 730am. I was called to pick him about 15mins after 9am! Really great service and now we will continue coming back. Thank you Lucky Dogs for such a fast and fantastic service!
