In Brooklyn, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in New York, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Brooklyn peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Took my 3 year old mini bernedoodle here for the first time yesterday because my old groomer closed. My dog is extremely shy so I was nervous for a new groomer. However, when I returned to pick her up, it was the least frantic she had ever been leaving a groomer. She seemed genuinely happy and calm. Her haircut was also immaculate and her teeth have less visible stains. I’m really happy to have found a new (and improved) groomer that my dog feels comfortable with. I highly recommend.

We had the best grooming experience at flossy pet Pawlor. They did a fantastic job getting the cut on our Brussels griffin just right. And they have the kindest staff. We will definitely be back.

I absolutely love bringing my dog here! The owners do such a great job whenever I bring him, and they’re exceptionally kind as well. My pup always comes back smelling so nice and clean, and they always put the cutest bandanas on him :). Highly recommend!
