Getting around Chicago is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Horrible service. We bought a birthday cake for our dog. First the pickup service or establishment never let us know it was ready despite it saying it was suppose to be ready at a certain time and never got confirmation. Second, I arrive and called twice; never was told that what we ordered was going to be refunded because certain things were not available despite it being on the site. Then twice arrived and the employee was either on break with a little sign and kept changing it while at 7-Eleven across the street despite telling I’d be arriving to get what we paid for. Had to wait in the rain for her. Then the cake was not frozen as described online for freshness, also the cake looked nothing like it does online, and they had nothing available to customize the cake. But they sure did keep the tip, horrible establishment, do not recommend. So many better location with better communication and service.

This is by far the best Doggie Bakery I’ve ever been to! Adorable in every way and wow, the fresh baked smells when you walk in are delightful! The owner is so welcoming and hospitable and I will definitely be back! Our sweet Maple loved every bite of her pupcakes and the custom cake looked so delicious- I even wanted a bite! Kudos Chef! Thank you and we will see you again. Mike T.

We stopped by Le Barkery today to celebrate our Doberman’s 1st birthday, and it was such a great experience! The owner was so welcoming and friendly, helping us pick out treats and even a birthday cake. Our pup was so excited by the smell of everything—we had to keep her from jumping up on the counter! The shop has such a fun selection of toys and accessories too 😊 We’ll definitely be coming back to Le Barkery for future treats and dog goodies!

It is a sad case to have such a bad experience in a matter of only 3 minutes of being in the store. I stopped in, with my mother because we both foster cats and dogs. We saw that she had some interesting toys to see. Being on a budget, I try to check prices to get the best bang for my buck. Upon price checking 2 items, then I asked her “how much does this toy cost?”. Rudely she responds, “I’m not interested in price matching, you can leave”. I didn’t say anything to her about price matching and if the price wasn’t to my liking, I would have left regardless. The professionalism was not there and I strongly feel discriminated against. This treatment was unfortunate and I hope no one else has to go through what I went through (Photos of some of the kittens I’m currently fostering)

not sure what all the negative nancys are crying about but I found this place to be PAWsome! It was my first time here and I thought it was a very kind and welcoming atmosphere. I didn’t catch the person’s name when I went (July 7, around 11am i think?) Anyway, it was my pups 12th birthday and she was so kind and sweet to my boy! He loved all the treats I bought for him and he never got sick. I bought him ice cream, a cookie, and a half dozen pupcakes and he loved them all! I was impressed by the size of the cupcakes as they were pretty big; i was able to cut them in half to give to my 11 pound shih tzu. The lady was super friendly as I asked about the ingredients in each item to ensure everything sounded safe. Definitely would recommend :)
