La Groom

I am not the type to leave a review but this place is just so bad. They had half smokin cigarettes behind the counter EVERYWHERE. I just had a bad feeling leaving my dog there, but I still did thinking it’ll be okay it’s just a couple hours. Cut to me getting my dog back and it was just awful. They tried to charge me more than they initially said plus the groom itself looked like something I could’ve done myself. Save your time and money definitely go anywhere else.

Really awful experience. They are not transparent about the pricing, prior to when I called they said grooming would be around $85 and I was charged $140. Because they said my pup had mats and he was big for his breed. My dog is 20lbs!!! They left a nasty cut near my dogs eyes and do not care about pet safety or their clients! Don’t waste your time. Just take your dog somewhere else.

UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO OWNER: As a hairstylist I absolutely understand pricing adjustments based on needs. What I experienced was an utter failure of appropriate business standards and etiquette. Below I have posted photos of my dog after grooming her myself (without any training or professional understanding) in under an hr. It’s not perfect, but if I could do it, so should a groomer be able to. The issue was less about upselling and more about yelling at me, continuous calls while I was at work and then telling me to pick my dog up to be cut by another groomer next week while paying full price for BOTH services. Overall, this was an extremely unorganized, chaotic, and unprofessional experience. After my dog was bathed, I was told that due to the condition of her coat, she couldn't receive the haircut I had provided as inspiration. (The cut she always receives). I was asked what I would like to do instead, and I simply said to do whatever they felt would look best and just clean her up. At that point, I was also informed there would be an additional $50 matting fee, which had not been discussed with me beforehand. For context, I'm a hairstylist. I brush my dog daily, bathe h

So glad to have Kimie back in the neighborhood! She’s been cutting my mini poodle since we moved here 3 years ago. Grooming a poodle isn’t easy and he always comes back flawless. She always respectful of our time and does her best to accommodate drop off and pick ups. Thank you Kimie! You’re the best!
