JK Grooming

Cannot recommend JK grooming enough! I've been taking my mini goldendoodle Walter to Cody for almost 7 years now, and she is the absolute best! Most recently, Walter was unexpectedly sick the entire appointment, and Cody didn't complain once and finished the grooming. I am incredibly grateful for how much Cody and JK Grooming cares about the pups!

JK Grooming has been one of the worst grooming experiences I’ve dealt with in Denver. What should be a professional grooming service feels more like a dog-grooming factory where both the dogs and their owners are treated with very little respect. Getting an appointment is difficult enough—you can wait months just to get on the schedule—only to have them cancel at the last minute. After waiting that long, there seems to be very little consideration for the customer’s time or inconvenience. The customer service is another major problem. Instead of listening to owners about how they want their own dogs groomed, the attitude often feels like they know better and will tell you how your dog should look or how the dog should be cut. As the owner paying for the service, I expect my preferences to be heard, not dismissed. On top of that, I found the conditions consistently dirty and the overall experience unprofessional. Between the scheduling problems, poor customer service, lack of respect for owners’ preferences, and the condition of the facility, I cannot understand what justifies the cost. Under new ownership, more money and dirty conditions. I’ve had enough. There are too many dog

JK grooming will come up with additional reasons to charge you after the service is completed. Charged me $250 for a 40lb dog haircut and groom because I had an emergency and wasn’t immediately there. They say it is “an extra service charge” $25 but actually charge way more and then shame you for it at pickup time. Unprofessional and not great at bookkeeping, they are frequently losing records and don’t verify vaccination status. Previously when I didn’t have an emergency they were fine however I noticed they were often rude to other customers. I’ll probably find somewhere else to take my fur baby since there are so many great options better priced in Denver.

This grooming business is wonderful! They are a few dollars more than Petco grooming, but so worth it because they are fast and my dog always looks so beautiful when they are done. Also they don't lock up the dogs in crates and my dog hates the crate.

Been bringing my miniature poodle here for nearly two years. They do the best job with my baby girl. She gets her grooming done every 8 weeks like clockwork and I’ve never been disappointed with a single cut she’s had. She is also pretty high strung in general but she always leaves so happy and calm ♥️ we’ve had multiple groomers but the talented and sweet Lexie is our favorite !
