Heart + Paw

Last minute visit and I couldn’t ask for a smoother more caring experience! My dog is really anxious and not well behaved at the vet and they were so calm and patient, no judgement, did everything with us in the room, and went slowly but thoroughly! Big thank you to Dr Justin Schumacher, Rachel, Casey and everyone there. From the moment we walked in, the team was all so sweet to us. Grateful for such compassionate care!

Gabby was absolutely amazing! She listened to all of my concerns from past grooming experiences and totally nailed Hazel’s haircut. It’s been so hard finding someone who is great with my mini poodle, but Gabby was patient, caring, and did an incredible job. Hazel looks perfect. 10/10 experience — highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have had nothing but good experiences with Heart and Paw since my dog became a patient in January 2021. My dog is extremely anxious when he has to go to the vet and needs to be sedated for his yearly wellness appointment. The vet tech staff and doctors (especially Dr. Schumacher) are always so understanding and go above and beyond to make my dog as comfortable as possible. They are so helpful and kind even though my dog is difficult to handle when he comes for his check up. I always recommend Heart and Paw to anyone looking for a vet in our area!

We have taken our VERY anxious pitbull mix Rory to Heart and Paw for years now. Chelsea is one of the only people who can actually get Rory's nails clipped, even our vet hasn't been able to get it done in the past. Chelsea has the best energy and does such a great job with Rory, I would highly recommend her, and any tech at Heart and Paw. They really do care, and make sure to make it a quick and easy experience for all pets!

Grooming visit. Overdue bc of an emergency for the groomer. Totally understand just horrible timing with this heat! They are always fast and they get the job done. I do wish they referred more to photos. My dog is always comfortable there so that is all that actually matters. I will learn to provide just a little more description of what I’m looking for rather than not giving enough detail.. this time he was a full fluff ball with so much matting, he needed a whole shave down. He feels so much better, he passed right out when he found his spot when we got home.. before and after photo attached..
