Healthy Hound Playground & Grooming

My dog came back with irritated skin on his groin area after asking them to use hypoallergenic shampoo. He had trouble walking for days after. This happened on 2 separate occasions this year. He had no issues previously either here or at other groomers. Also, ~$100-$110 for a 15 pound mini poodle to be shaved down completely and for directions to not be followed is ridiculous.

Healthy Hound Playground & Grooming is THE PLACE TO GO. Their Groomers are fantastic. Our Groomer consistently does an OUTSTANDING Grooming on our dog - a mix of Bichon and Shih-Tsu. This facility is very clean, well kept, and the staff there are all very friendly, responsive and professional. Our dog loves going there for his six week grooming. If you haven't tried Healthy Hound Playground & Grooming, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this business. They are wonderful.

Healthy Hound provides an exceptional grooming experience from start to finish. The staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely cares about the well-being of every pet that walks through their doors. They took the time to listen to exactly how I wanted my dog groomed and exceeded my expectations with the results. My dog came home looking fantastic, smelling fresh, and most importantly, happy and comfortable. The attention to detail was outstanding, from the perfectly trimmed coat to the clean paws and nails. It’s clear that the groomers are experienced, patient, and passionate about what they do. The facility is clean, welcoming, and well-organized, which gave me confidence that my pet was in great hands. I also appreciated the excellent communication throughout the process.

The crew at Healthy Hound always takes great care of Daisy. They are sensitive to her limited vision and struggles with negative reactivity to other dogs. They take their time with her to ensure her safety and well-being and all the other dogs on-site. She always comes out of her bath looking fantastic with neatly trimmed nails. We’ve been using them for the 3 years since we rehomed Daisy and look forward to continuing to bring her to Healthy Hound for many more years to come.

We take our cocker spaniel for grooming to see Carlos and he is absolutely wonderful! He always takes time to talk with us about the grooming beforehand to ensure we get exactly what we want. He helps us problem solve and explains different results of various cuts. Our pup can sometimes be nervous but he seems very content around Carlos. We are so glad we found him!
