Happy Tails Holistic Veterinary Care

I chose to bring my 10-year-old pitbull here after the veterinarian in Atlanta gave me a hard time about not wanting all of the harmful vaccines because my dog needed surgery. This vet is a wonderful holistic vet and they abide by the law. Of course they require the rabies, but they didn’t require the other vaccines and so my dog is very happy here and so am I it’s worth the drive. I live in Atlanta, but I drive an hour to get to Roswell in order to get superlative treatment for my dog.

Dr. Bellinger has been taking care of my girls now for a few years and we’ve never met a vet like him. He takes time to answer every question and really dive deep on all things holistic for our girls and their wellness and prevention. We are so grateful for the whole team at Happy Tails, they all treat you like family from the moment you come in the door. I wish all vets were like this one! Thank God we found happy tails, the service here is impeccable.

We were referred to Dr Julia when our 11yr old lab was diagnosed with stage 2 soft tissue sarcoma. She and Dr Bollinger have been excellent at diagnosing and exactly identifying the issue at hand. We are almost a year since the diagnosis and our boy continues to have good quality of life and slower growth of the tumor. Such a better option than the more traditional methods recommend at the time of diagnosis (radiation, chemo pill, etc)

Came to Happy Tails to get Buster help with his cutaneous lymphoma diagnosis. Hyperbaric oxygen treatments and ozone treatments. Everyone was warm and welcoming making it a great experience for Buster! We will be back once a week to help him with his illness!! Thank you Happy Tails team for making him feel at home. We look forward to working with you long term as part of busters care team! Additional updates: Still taking Buster to Happy Tails as of 8/5/26 and have added in additional treatments to help him with his cancer diagnosis. The UltraViolet Blood Infusion with Ozone, High Dose Vitamin C shots and Rectal Ozone is what he is getting as well as the Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber when his skin breaks out with a lesion. So far, no more lesions have popped up. He is doing chemo and these treatments help him so much with the nausea and inflammation that is caused in the bowels by the Tanovea Chemo. They also offer glucosamine shots and chiro care - which we will be doing on the next visit. I drive a hour and 15 minutes to get to Happy Tails and they put us in a large room so I can sit and work and stay with him while he gets all his treatments done in the course of a day.

Happy Tails is hands down the best care I have ever received for my pets. We trust Dr. Bellinger for all of the dental work and Dr. Julia does an excellent job with maintaining overall health for our shih tzu. The variety of services offered (laser therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic, etc.) are hard to find elsewhere and they have truly made such a beneficial change to my dog’s life. We have been seeing Dr. Julia for 6-7 years and I would not trust anyone else to care for my fur baby the way she and Dr. Bellinger do. Cannot recommend them enough!
