About Happy Puppies

We are a pet grooming business that promotes the health, happiness, and aesthetic appeal of dogs and cats, fostering a deeper bond between pet and their owners.

Happy Puppies is a pet groomer in Union, New Jersey. It is listed at 899 Magie Ave, Union, NJ 07083, which places it among the local businesses of Union that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. On most of those days it is open 10 am–7 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Tuesday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Happy Puppies at (908) 248-8302; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 50 reviews, which is a strong result for a pet groomer in Union and suggests consistent service.

Union is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Union follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We found our new groomer: Full weekend availability, fair prices and great with anxious dogs and owners! :) As owners of an anxious dog, with the added concerned about finding a groomer under a short notice, our worries began to dissolve after the first phone call with owner, Michelle. I called Michelle on a Saturday for an appointment on a Sunday, the next day. For prospective: Happy Puppies was one of a only a few groomers in the area open on a Sunday and was only one of two groomers with open availability on this Sunday. She met my concerns with warmth, positivity and ease. From the moment we walked in to drop off our golden doodle, we were met by the same warmth and positivity by Kyle, the groomer. We learned that Kyle has 30 years of experience and it shows. He was SO good with our dog! We are so grateful for such a refreshing experience and strongly recommend Happy Puppies to anyone, especially those anxious owners who have been made even more anxious by their pets experience with other groomers. Thank You for renewing our faith in the experience!

Michele, the owner was fantastic. I had a problem with my indoor cats getting fleas and I asked her if she could take them and give them a bath and flea treatment and she took both cats gave me a discount the groomer that took care of them was Kyle. He was awesome. He brushed her teeth, cleaned her ears. Cut their nails my one cats is a long-haired cat she got a haircut. They didn’t charge me much more for that and they were both taken care of very well they came back, looking so clean and smelling so good. I will definitely return there for my long-haired cat to get her haircut again they did a beautiful job, friendly, courteous, and reasonable prices, and your fur baby will be taken good care of.

I looked for several reasonable groomers for my two dogs, a Shitzu and a Japanese Chin. It was difficult finding one that seemed compassionate about dogs, being transparent about their prices, and professional. After much search, I made reservations with Happy Puppies and they were excellent with their service. They listened to what I wanted, took care of my dogs, and they looked very cute when we picked them up. I will be using them again.

People here are very friendly and their prices are very fair not overpriced like other places. Also I love that my dog isn't there for too long like other places just sitting in a kennel. And yes they do a beautiful job! Love this place
