About Grooming by Josie

Anxious free grooming

Grooming by Josie is a pet groomer in Tigard, Oregon. It is listed at 11945 SW Pacific Hwy #222, Tigard, OR 97223, which places it among the local businesses of Tigard that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 9 am–5 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (971) 409-8225. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, pawznbubbles.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 5.0 out of 5 from 118 reviews, which is a strong result for a pet groomer in Tigard and suggests consistent service.

Tigard is in Oregon, in the Pacific Northwest, where winters are mild and wet, summers are dry and pleasant, and outdoor recreation drives a lot of local business; hours change little through the year. Getting around Tigard is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Oregon's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

My little 3 yr old mini Aussie is a rescue I've had since last August. He's had a lot of adjustments as he'd never lived in a home before and remains cautious around new people. Today I took him to Josie for his first professional grooming. Wow he looks so shiny and fluffy. and so glad he seemed happy at the end of his 90+ minute bath and grooming. I'd highly recommend Josie.

We cannot recommend Josie enough! She handles Angus, our 170 lb blind English Mastiff, with absolute ease and genuine care. Angus is incredibly sensitive about his feet, but Josie manages to trim his nails smoothly and safely every time. He always comes home looking fantastic, smelling wonderful and most importantly, happy and calm. Her patience and expertise with pups is unmatched!

Josie did such an amazing job grooming my Saint Bernard. He can be iffy with new people and she did a great job making sure he was comfortable with her. Great communication and was really easy to make an appt. He came to her in rough shape and he looks like a new dog! Would 10/10 recommend.

Amazing! I’ve had my poodles groomed in many cities, but never have I ever had a groom as good as the one my pup got here in March. I didn’t realize how good the groom was until I had the next groom back home and was very disappointed compared to my experience at Josie’s. Wish I lived in the area, because I’d use them EXCLUSIVELY. It was fast, my pets hair was even and no clipper marks or loose uneven hairs. I can’t say enough how much I appreciate it. They’re even trying to help me find a local groomer.

Our dog Angel is just a puppy so she has only been to Josie a couple times so far but she will be back again next month. Josie has been fair with her pricing & she went out of her way to help me decide an appropriate style for Angel. We like the studio because it’s private & Angel is happy, but most importantly we feel safe taking her there. I would definitely reccomend Josie . 😊 UPDATE 5/22/26 🦋: our third visit went very well , our puppy finally had her first real poodle cut . I am extremely pleased I will be adding new photos . The first photo was from one of her puppy cuts and the second is her poodle cut. She did an excellent job. She is always great with communication. Definitely recommend Josie.
