Grooming By Alex

My dog Boomer has ACL issues but badly needed his nails cut. Alex went out of his way to accommodate him. He is a kind and caring person who really loves animals. We take our 3 dogs and cat to Grooming by Alex and they all always look great. Thanks Alex!

I really debated on leaving this review because I don’t usually like posting negative experiences, but I feel like I should be honest about this one. I brought my dog Rocky in for grooming and while part of his haircut was fine, the overall result didn’t turn out well. His hair is uneven all the way around, especially his chest and legs, and it doesn’t look blended at all. It also wasn’t communicated to me until I asked what was wrong with his chest. When I did ask, I was told he was extremely matted, which I know isn’t accurate because I brushed him right before we came in. Rocky has been here before and it always looked nice, which is why we kept coming back. That’s also why this appointment was so disappointing compared to our previous visits. When I first spoke with the owner on the phone about my concerns, he did offer for me to bring Rocky back in so it could be looked at and fixed. I was under the impression that he would be the one handling it or at least overseeing the fix. When I brought Rocky back in, the owner was in the back grooming another dog, and the same groomer who originally did the haircut was at the front. At that point, I was told again that the only way

I have been taking my Maltese to Alex for 3 years or so. I like very much that I can drop her off and wait for her. She was rescued from a puppy mill and I don't want her in a cage all day. I've been very happy with the quality of the grooming no matter who has worked on her. And she seems very calm when I pick her up. That was not the case with her past groomer. I do not live very close but I am happy to drive the distance for such a high quality grooming and very nice people.

I think we’ve been using Nezuko at Alex‘s grooming probably for about eight years. There’s been some changes and they move location, but we continue to follow her. Sometimes I feel the prices are a little high, but we have two Shih Tzu‘s and one was a rescue and one is a Covid dog so he’s a little shy and she takes the best care with them And other than being tired. They always seem happy with whatever the latest bandanna style is available.

Grooming by Alex always does an amazing job grooming my two dogs, Cooper and Dunkin! They looked fantastic, smell great, and are happy the whole time. You can tell they truly care about the dogs and they take great pride in the work. Highly recommend!
