I am so glad to meet Eliya. She was very caring with my cat, keeping him calm while she worked. She did a very good job! I recommend 100%.

No words can due justice. Gato Salon is a rarity just like its owner is. She is the cat whisperer, you can feel how much she loves cats, and shes so incredible with my Pepe. Gato Salon is not just for grooming, it’s a safe place a refuge for my Pepe. Im so blessed to have found this little sanctuary, that boasts a huge passion for what she does and the impact it has for us both. There is truly no other place to look for or trust your kitty with. Pepe looks handsomer than I ever thought possible every time after. Priceless!!!! Thank you so much Gato Salon…🙏

Eliya is truly an expert in cat grooming, she takes wonderful care of both of my Persian cats. She is very communicative during the process and it’s clear that she is a true animal lover. Both times I took my kitties in, she gave them the cutest haircuts, and handled their stubborn, matted fur with care. When I picked them up, they looked absolutely incredible. And she even did photo shoots for both of them as well. She truly is the best cat groomer in LA, 10/10 recommend!

I brought my sweet Lily here for her first grooming and it was such a positive experience. Eliya is truly a gem — kind, gentle, honest, and clearly passionate about what she does. She provides a soothing, safe environment that puts both pets and owners at ease. She’s very reasonably priced, and what impressed me most was her honesty. Instead of trying to upsell or push frequent appointments, she recommended Lily come back in 4–6 months. That level of integrity is rare! If you want your fur baby treated with love and care, this is the place!

I had never been to a cat groomer before but my female cat Ro had a urinary issue about a week prior where she ended up peeing on herself. Even after getting a sanitary shave at the vet Ro still had some urine in her fur on her back legs and smelled a little off. I had tried to use a couple different “waterless shampoos” until I finally gave up and started research cat groomers in my area and came across Eliya at Gato Salon. I cannot say enough great things about my experience. I loved being able to text with Eliya prior to the grooming to really let her know my concerns and tell her about Ro’s temperament (and I even sent her pictures of Ro’s behind to show her exactly what areas were the problem !!) As soon as I arrived and stepped inside I couldn’t believe how cute it was ! Eliya was so calming and gentle with Ro. I understood that it was a possibility that Ro might need to have even MORE fur shaved off to get rid of the urine smell and I let Eliya know I was okay with that. She slowly shaved off areas and even let me “approve” the amount before bathing her, which I greatly appreciated. The entire process took about 45-60 minutes and Ro emerged looking happy and silkier than eve
