In Austin, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Texas, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 7:30 am–4 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (281) 406-4124. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, gajeels.square.site.

Customers rate it 5.0 out of 5 on Google across 14 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pet groomers in Austin.

Austin is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Austin is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Nanci is so sweet, professional, and you can tell she takes her craft seriously! Her space is clean, quiet, and stress free for the entirety of the groom. I love that she is fear free certified (which is an absolute must these days) and my dog always leaves happy and calm. But most importantly, she does an INCREDIBLE job!! We’ve had 3 grooms and I have had zero complaints. My dog doesn’t look real after her appointments lol

I’ve met with Miss Nacy a couple times for her to work my sweet girl Ruby. She did a fantastic job with my little girl. I’m SUPER careful with who gets access to my pups, especially because my pup Ruby is super timid (she is a rescue) and loud noises, strangers scare her. I was amazed at how patient Nancy was for her first groom!! I am beyond pleased with her final look 😍😍 Additionally Miss Nancy was awesome at communicating with me, super sweet and warm. I typically get nervous leaving my pups but she calmed my nerves with her sweet personality! Thank you Miss Nacy for taking care of my sweet girl! May your business grow and continue to be booked and busy!

Nanci is literally the sweetest and did such an amazing job on my dog! She was so gentle, attentive, and made the whole experience feel easy and stress free. My pup looked sooo cute and came back happy and relaxed. You can tell she truly cares. A repeated client🩷. I 100% recommend her 💕🐶

Nanci is awesome. She is the best groomer in Austin and we are so glad we found her! She uses high quality products because my baby stays super soft for over a week. I can tell she takes good care of my baby because when i give him his weekly baths he is more calm than before. We highly recommend Nanci. Also, her app makes it very convenient and easy to reschedule our appointments.

I truly can’t say enough good things about Nanci! She has been grooming my dogs—four of them—for over five years, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with them. From day one, Nanci has gone above and beyond to make each dog feel comfortable, safe, and totally pampered. Whether it’s my energetic pup or my more anxious senior, she handles each of them with such gentle, expert care. Not only do they leave looking absolutely amazing (seriously, show-dog level every time), but they also seem genuinely happy after every visit. Nanci somehow manages to make grooming a positive experience, and that is no small feat! Her attention to detail, love for animals, and consistent excellence make her an absolute gem in the world of pet care. If you’re looking for someone who treats your dogs like her own—and makes them look fabulous in the process—Nanci is your girl. Five stars just isn’t enough!
