Locally owned dog grooming spa that provides all your dog’s grooming needs in the Des Moines area!

Fur Canvas LLC is a pet groomer in Des Moines, Iowa. It is listed at 1575 E Euclid Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313, which places it among the local businesses of Des Moines that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

In Des Moines, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Iowa, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 8 am–4:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (515) 655-6047. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is furcanvasgrooming.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

It does not have a Google rating yet. That is common for new or small businesses and says nothing about quality; if you visit, leaving a review helps the next person.

Des Moines is in Iowa, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Getting around Des Moines is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Iowa's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.
