Feline Veterinary Care of Morgantown

I'm sure my cat received the best, expensive state of the art testing possible... BUT I must state: the low review is because they sent me home with the wrong medication! I literally ordered a medicated salve, and a dewormer for my severely ill CAT... got sent home with a big bottle of pills for a DOG named Bella. Now I'm not sure what this employer is like to work for, but if you're so disorganized you want to charge me $700 for a few x-rays and then send me away with something that could kill my animal? You guys need to examine your company protocols so this doesn't happen to other people and their pets! I have a feeling I'm not the first one it's happened to. Like there should be a set protocol where several employees check the prescription before I check out. It wouldn't be difficult! Its honestly the type of service you would expect from a doctor who feels they are too big, or too good to give you their time without charging top dollar. The service visibly suffers as a result. And on a side note... to be fair: Nearly every new vet is going to try to prescribe you a few extra medications to drive up the bill. This is pretty normal. I absolutely love bringing my kitties here, and they love it too! It is calm, quiet, and the rooms have plenty of spaces for cats to hide and explore. The staff is gentle, kind, and compassionate. My senior kitty didn’t want to leave! Not to mention, their pricing is very fair and reasonable. I 100% recommend this vet to all cat owners ❤️

Mirabel had a wonderful vet appointment with the awesome women who work so hard to provide her with stellar care! Everyone who works here was kind and welcoming - and I can tell that this feline-only clinic made a difference in my girl's first visit.

For years, our cats have been treated by Dr. Gilson at Feline Vet Care. Most recently, I brought in my 9-year old cat (Scout) for GI issues. During the exam, Dr. Gilson quickly identified a more critical issue regarding her oral health. Several of her teeth were infected and it was clear Scout was in a lot of discomfort and pain. With kindness and empathy, Dr. Gilson suggested a treatment plan and we agreed to move forward with surgery as quickly as possible. The entire FVC staff assured me that Scout was in good hands during the day of her surgery. Importantly, they realized that our family wanted Scout to be surrounded by love and a calm environment. Scout received stellar treatment- including lots of snuggles, and the surgery was a success. After the anesthesia wore off in four days, Scout’s personality transformed. She became affectionate, began purring again, and it was easy to infer that she was much happier now that she was no longer in constant pain. Today’s post-surgical follow-up visit was included at no additional cost and Dr Gilson was as thoughtful as ever. She thoroughly and gently examined Scout. With great care, Dr. G showed me Scout's teeth to help me see her progr

I had an absolutely lovely experience here establishing care for my new kitten! All of the staff treated him like he was their own and did an excellent job at making him feel completely comfortable when he is typically rather skittish. Percy had a great time for his fist visit to the vet, and I am so glad he left without being upset or scared. I will be coming back here and recommending this practice to anyone in Morgantown with cats! 😸
