I have been going to Exmoor for 4 years and I always get excellent service. My dog gets shaved every 6 weeks in the summer/ fall and he loves it. I highly recommend their grooming services.

Three years ago, my cocker spaniel Ethan developed vestibular disease. As a blind dog, he had a very difficult time recovering from something that most dogs get over in 24 to 48 hours. After two weeks Ethan had not made any improvements and was still circling and could not be left alone. I tried finding a pet sitter for him, but it’s unreasonable to think somebody would stay in your house eight hours a day. So, as a last ditch effort, I reached out to Exmoor and told them I just wanted to give Ethan a chance to recover. He ended up going to doggy daycare every single day for six months. They saved his life allowing him to have the time he needed to recover. They took him on short walks around the yard during his potty breaks and when he got to circling too much someone was there to pet him and let him know that he wasn’t alone. He was finally able to resume staying home by himself, but I would still take him occasionally just so he could get out and have a little company during the day. I could not be more grateful to them. I just can’t say enough good things about this facility and I will be forever in their debt.

Exmoor is an incredible local Austin gem. The front desk staff are always so sweet and welcoming, and they greet my dog by name every time we come in. Best haircut, best people, best experience all around and the grooming is top-notch!

I have been taking my difficult Pom there for grooming for many years and I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate and value his grooming there by Alicia. She is patient and has taken time to know him and his quirks…. Highly recommend. I have to drive a half hour there and another half hour back through a lot of traffic, but it is so worth it.

I have been bringing my dogs to Exmoor for years to get groomed and have always been extremely impressed with the customer service and care they provide for our dogs. This most recent visit though, I was blown away with the amazing grooming they provided for my miniature Pomeranian who has alopecia. I have been trying to figure out what to do for the loss of hair and her skin being incredibly flakey but nothing seemed to work. When I called to make my appointment, I explained that my Pomeranian has alopecia and they immediately had suggestions regarding what could help. When I came to pick my pups up after they were groomed, my little Charli looked like a new dog. Her hair looked full and healthy and she wasn't flakey at all. I am guessing it is the body butter that did the trick. Regardless, i can't thank Alicia and Exmoor Pet Care Services enough. I was beginning to think I was going to have to live with a hairless and flakey dog. Luckily, I will just continue bringing my sweet pups to Exmoor so they can groom them and make them look fabulous.
