About Emerald K9

Dedicated to building personal grooming experiences catering to your lifestyle, and most importantly - your dog's specific grooming needs!

Emerald K9 is a pet groomer in Portland, Oregon. It is listed at 1720 NW Lovejoy St Ste 112, Portland, OR 97209, which places it among the local businesses of Portland that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

Hours have not been published for this listing yet. Most businesses of this type in Portland keep standard business hours, but call ahead to be sure, especially on weekends and holidays. The listed phone number is (971) 413-5772. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

Customers rate it 4.9 out of 5 on Google across 37 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pet groomers in Portland.

Portland is in Oregon, in the Pacific Northwest, where winters are mild and wet, summers are dry and pleasant, and outdoor recreation drives a lot of local business; hours change little through the year. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Portland follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We first took our mini Goldendoodle, Vinny, to Emerald K9 Grooming when he was 4 months and Kaley was amazing. She trained Vinny for grooming and always made sure he had a gorgeous cut! We are so thankful to have found such a great groomer to keep our favorite guy looking well. So grateful for all the progress Vinny has made and the friendship he found with Kaley!

My black Pomeranian named Magic always comes home looking impeccable and happy. He used to be very anxious and upset going to the groomer but Kaley is so wonderful with him that his fear has practically disappeared. All time best groomer! It’s hard to photograph a black dog so this might not do justice to how great he looks afterwards, but I promise you’ll be pleased!

I have been going to Kaley for about 9 months and my experience has been wonderful! I had recently adopted a mature chihuahua with shy and anxious behavior. After reading other reviews, I knew she was the groomer for us! A groomer who specialized in creating a calm, one-on-one atmosphere. We went slow at first and my dog gained her trust! The dog she is today is all in collaboration with Kaley’s calm and gentle approach in knowing what was best for her. I highly recommend working with Kaley! Her attention to detail and overall kindness and warmth is reassuring that my dog is in good hands. Thank you!! Sean and Joey🐾

Kaley's passion and love for dogs helped our pup feel comfortable and safe during his grooms. He's normally anxious about the groomer, but Kaley was patient and gentle enough to create trust and take care of his grooming needs. He always looks dapper leaving her studio. I cannot overstate how much her services helped us!

We have been taking Bailey to Kaley for 3 years now and I have nothing but good things to say about Emerald k9 grooming. Kaley takes one dog at a time, and she takes her time comforting nervous dogs before starting. Lots of treats and playing! I sometimes peak in and she’s on the floor giving our dog love. The space is clean and she uses equipment that is fear free for dogs. Our dog has a lot of ptsd due to being sick as a puppy, and she’s terrified of any kind of appointment. When she sees Kaley, it’s like seeing her best friend. They have so much fun together! Her cut is always perfect. I’m amazed how perfectly round her paws and face are. We recommend her to all of our friends and family!! We will never take Bailey to anyone else. Emerald k9 is the best of the best. You will never find another groomer so caring, talented and with a heart of pure gold.
