Awesome laundromat with helpful, friendly staff that keep the place very clean. Machines are maintained well. Clothes are fully dry in 20 min. at most!

It’s been years since I’ve been on the big island but I remembered using the Downtown Laundry Express and am happy to see that they continue to provide a clean space with lots of washers and dryers of various sizes. Best of all, their customer service continues to be exceptional. Today, Tasha patiently helped me get a new laundry card, determined the minimum needed to wash the amount of laundry I had, and showed me how to use the machines. Thank you Tasha! And thank you Laundry Express for hiring such wonderful staff.🌻

Coincidentally, there was a good laundromat just a 5-minute walk away from our hotel. Lucky me :) All the good things posted in the Google map reviews were true indeed!

I read a lot of good feedback about this place on Google, so I wanted to experience it myself. I did my first laundry in Hilo here, even though it’s 0.8 miles farther away for me than the nearest laundry, which has worse recommendations. This place was worth every extra step. I’ll do my laundry here in the future. The place has a good vibe, it’s clean, and the staff is amazing.

Open 24 hours with A/C. Very clean with well maintained washers and dryers of different sizes. We use the large washers for our beddings. Accepts cash and credit cards that is loaded onto a laundry card. They provide several TVs, vending machines, a keiki corner, rolling laundry baskets, drop-off service and a restroom for customers with a laundry card. Show up between 12pm and 4am for a 30% discount. The best laundromat in Hilo hands down!!
