I gave Dogtopia another try after several months, as the first time, my puppy seemed overwhelmed likely due to her tiny size and separation anxiety. Now that she is older and has been socialized more, she seemed to do a lot better with her second meet and greet / trial daycare stay. I especially appreciate that they prioritize the safety of their smaller, more delicate dogs. Dogtopia has a separate small dog area so the toy breeds can play safely without being harmed by the more studier dogs, giving pet parents with smaller dogs peace of mind. I also like that the dogs have structured down time where they relax in a crate for a couple of hours each day to prevent over stimulation. While checking in on my dog during her stay, I noticed the staff regularly cleaning both the floors and the crates, which was also reassuring to see. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. I'm very happy I gave Dogtopia another try. My puppy seemed to have a positive experience, and I feel confident in bringing her for future daycare.

We were using a different daycare before we started coming here, and Dogtopia has been so much better for us in every way. I love that they use crates to give the dogs a break when they get overstimulated, but the crates are in the same room as everyone else so that they don't feel isolated. I love the extra activities they provide, like photoshoots and special treats. Any minor issues we have had have been addressed and corrected immediately. It is clear the the staff really cares for the dogs, and that the supervisors really care for the staff and for the customers. Our dog comes home exhausted every day and absolutely loves going here!

The staff here are very friendly, very helpful. I love the diverse staff that worked there, it’s always good to see people of color welcomed to work at an establishment. After taking my dog to other daycare‘s, I find Dogtopia to be the kindest and most thoughtful. The best folk work there.

Sugar and I love Dogtopia Ann Arbor! The staff is always so nice to us and I see them cleaning constantly on the parent cameras. I appreciate all the fun activities they schedule and the picture sessions too. I have so many cute photos of my girl now!

Dogtopia has been nothing short of a dream for Atlas, our Alaskan Malamute. After trying other daycares that never quite felt right, we found Dogtopia, and it was an instant match. The staff greeted him with warmth and care that was immediately evident, and now, nearly every single day, he’s excited to go. He’s treated with so much love and attention, and they make sure he feels comfortable and happy, which is incredibly important since he didn’t always fit in elsewhere. We feel such peace of mind knowing that Atlas is not just cared for but truly adored by the wonderful team at Dogtopia. It’s more than just a daycare for him—it’s his home away from home.
