Doggie Academy is a dog trainer in Brooklyn, New York. It is listed at 10 Whitwell Pl, Brooklyn, NY 11215, which places it among the local businesses of Brooklyn that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Trainers and dog parks help dogs stay calm, social and easy to handle, which makes grooming visits go smoothly. Dog trainers teach puppy classes, basic and advanced obedience, leash manners and agility, in group classes, private lessons or board-and-train programs; certified behaviorists work on fear, aggression and separation anxiety, often alongside a vet; and dog parks give dogs a fenced, off-leash place to run and meet other dogs.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 10 am–8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Doggie Academy at (646) 828-3551; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is doggieacademy.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Brooklyn is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

After five puppy socialization sessions our pomeranian went from not being able to see other dogs without barking and growling to being able to go to the dog park and play with everyone. A priceless experience, thank you!

We love going to doggie academy! We have done puppy play time and dog agility and find every trainer to be so caring, fun, supportive and helpful. My dog loves them and will jump and wag his tail when I ask if he wants to go to class. Once we are on the block, he sprints. Everyone there is amazing.

Puppy Socials have a been a lifesaver! Socializing your puppy is hard right now and this was the best way for us to do so. We brought our puppy right after his second round of shots. He literally learned how to play here. Lizzie is the BEST. She helped Leo get comfortable so he could start having fun. Shes amazing with the puppies and keeps her eye on everyone. The classes are only 5 puppies so it's not overwhelming and Ive learned a lot during the sessions. Now he's ready to play the minute he shows up.

Best online classes! Doggie Academy is my favorite place to train in real life and now it is online too. I normally do agility lessons with Amanda. I'm so glad we are able to move our lessons online. She had no problem coming up with creative ways to train agility in our small space. I'm also taking 2 of Doggie Academy's weekly online classes - to occupy my dog while we're home. I love the format - live video lessons once a week where you can train and get feedback during the class. It's so fun and I don't have to read a bunch of lecture material like in other online classes. My dog Lucy is very happy whenever I open zoom and grab the treats!

Doggie Academy has wonderful classes and very knowledgeable and passionate instructors. The classes range from beginner classes for puppies and brand new pet parents to dog sports and behavioral seminars focusing on separation anxiety, reactivity and so much more. They also have private lessons which are amazing. I've worked with Sarah, Kate and Amanda all on separate occasions, and I cannot recommend them enough.
