We love coming here on the weekends with our dogs. Everyone is very nice and cleans up after themselves. We have not met an aggressive dog or person who is not paying attention to their dogs. It is clear the people who come here really care about their dogs. It's not too crowded (we go almost every weekend and have always gotten a good spot), but there isn't shade, so I would always suggest being a shade or umbrella so your baby's paws don't get burned when out of the water. Parking is tough but is easier in the morning. There is neighborhood parking near Golden West if the lots are too crowded. There are washrooms that are decent but don't have soap (bring soap or hand sanitizer - there is running water in the sink).

Very nice beach. Long wide open sidewalks and bike paths. I was there during the week and not a weekend so there was plenty of space on the beach to layout and catch some rays or waves.

This dog beach is the best. I’ve been coming here for decades with all my different dogs, and anytime we’re in Orange County, this is always our first stop. It’s a great place to let them tire themselves out after a long car ride, and the sunsets are epic. Dogs are friendly and often come and say hi to us. Parking was not too hard to find, which made the whole experience even better.

This was a very fun outing. I was driving down the coast and looked up dog friendly beaches and discovered that Huntington Beach had a dog beach. I parked my car on the side of the road went down and there was hundreds of dogs running up and down the coast freely with their owners. Very friendly pets. Very friendly owners. It was a great experience with my dog. She had a great time. Sniffing and chasing the ball meeting, other dogs and their owners. It was a nice refreshing walk with beautiful views. I 100% recommend this dog beach

Huntington Dog Beach is not just a great beach to walk your dogs. It offers gorgeous views, especially in the quiet morning hours. Walking along the beach, you get wonderful views of the water and boats. You can also walk towards and onto the pier to get closer to the water and enjoy beautiful city views. It's a gorgeous walk even if you don't have a dog. When you’re done exploring, you can cross the street to enjoy the beautiful shops, grab a cup of coffee, and explore the lovely streets of Huntington Beach
