Courtyard by Marriott Appleton Riverfront

The price DOES NOT reflect quality. I paid 358 per night for the cheapest room and thus expected top quality rooms and service. This hotel provided neither. There was brown and black smudges on the bathroom door and black dots on the door leading to the outside. Took two small towels to clean. Worse is that there yellow stains on one of the bed mattresses. I DO NOT WANT to know why those are there. Marriott needs to perform better. The rooms themselves haven't been taken care of and the bathrooms are dismal. A 3 star hotel in Appleton shouldn't be as expensive as a 5 star hotel in Paris three blocks from the Arc de Triomphe. The hotel needs be WORTH the price. Add a swimming pool, a high end spa, reinvest into the hotel and make it spectacular. I stayed here before a while backand it wasn't nearly as this bad then.

My friend from out of town stayed here for one night and he enjoyed his stay. He also mentioned he ordered breakfast the next morning. He said it was one of the best breakfast's he had from staying at a hotel. They have a beautiful patio area with a firepit on for the evenings. It was relaxing to visit him and sit outside on their patio.

Stayed at the Courtyard Riverfront and had a really enjoyable experience overall. The breakfast sandwich was fresh and flavorful—exactly what you want to start the day. I also tried the avocado chicken sandwich, which was excellent and well-balanced. The hot wings were cooked perfectly and had great flavor; they were just a bit on the smaller side, but still very satisfying. All in all, a solid dining experience with good quality food. I’d definitely come back.
