Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

Denver is in Colorado, in the Mountain West, where the high elevation brings cold snowy winters, warm dry summers and big day-to-night temperature swings; ski and summer tourist seasons shape opening hours in resort towns. Traffic in Denver peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Been going here for over a year. Great pricing for Denver area and quick communication when my pups in boarding. Johnathan has been the manager for a while now, hired great people and set the bar even higher. Highly recommend. I absolutely love the hilarious photos they send of my dog clearly having the best time!

I took my small dog here once for a daycare evaluation visit. I monitored my dog via the webcams frequently. The staff member assigned to watch the dogs in the room with my pup was constantly on their phone and it was certainly not just to take photos of the dogs for the progress reports. They were obviously using it for entertainment. I was also told there would only be dogs around the size of my 12 pound dog in the room, but there were dogs that I would suspect that were at least 60 to 80 pounds in the room with her. There were also way too many dogs assigned to one staff member. The staff member consistently ignored the dogs. My dog was constantly getting dominated by a corgi and kept trying to get away from him. She was seeking help from the staff member in the room and she was pushed away while they continued to scroll on their phone. I was planning to leave my dog there for four hours for an evaluation visit, but picked her up early due to not feeling like she was being safely monitored. Additionally, I saw them pass very small dogs over a ~7ft gate instead of using the doors which is incredibly unsafe for those pups. If they were to wriggle out of the staff’s hands and fall

Their main Groomer, that’s been doing my dog for the last two years is bar none A+ rated and five star reviewed by me. He’s very good with my animal and extremely good at what he does! Thank you for all the great service!

I did the initial walk thru with a sweet guy from the front desk, toured the entire area and then took my pup in for the free evaluation on a Saturday morning. Originally was going to have her stay the full day (9am to 5pm) but decided to pick her up early after monitoring the camera streams...it was cloudy but partly sunny and temp was around 50+ degrees with a light breeze. She is with the small to medium dogs and they were stuck inside, all day and NO outside time. I did call after about 3 hours asking and was told it was up to the supervisor to make that decision. After watching all of the dogs just aimlessly wander around while the attendant sat on a chair up against the wall, monitoring what appeared to be a cell phone I'd had enough. There was NO evaluation, no attempt to see if she could interact with the larger dogs, no outside time, just stayed inside on a concrete floor for 6+ hours. When I picked her up, the same nice man at the front desk just said what a sweetie my pup is and that's it...no comments about anything, no follow up from whomever was supposed to evaluate her and no call from anyone to this day. You'd think us being a new client there would be someth

We have been bringing our dog to City Bark Lodo for three years for daycare and while I’ve seen some ups and downs, I have to say that the quality and care has settled in a very good place and I feel very comfortable bringing her here and she is very happy. I also want to shout out the Groomer, Aiden. My dog has now received her second groom from him and she always comes out looking good and happy. I appreciate Aiden’s care because my dog is a little skittish with grooming and he was very kind and gentle with her. Thank you!
