Thornton is in Colorado, in the Mountain West, where the high elevation brings cold snowy winters, warm dry summers and big day-to-night temperature swings; ski and summer tourist seasons shape opening hours in resort towns. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Thornton follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I am blown away by the customer service at this store! We went in looking for some new food options for our pup who has become progressively pickier the older she gets. We had two employees take the time to learn about her food preferences and show us some options that fit our requirements. They then also sent us home with over 10 free samples of various dry foods and canned foods to try to get her eating again. Everything we got appears to have quality ingredients and is stuff we feel comfortable feeding our pups as we're forced to move away from a homemade diet. They have a policy as well for food that you purchase that you can return it, even once opened, for 60 days after purchase and they'll just donate the unused portion. That is a huge deal for someone like me who is buying all these bags of food just for their dog to refuse to eat it. It was our first time in a Chuck & Don's and after we left, my husband said he won't ever buy from anyone else again!

I love this store. Everyone is so friendly. They say hello when you come in, and help whenever you have questions. I had surgery and was not allowed to carry anything over 10lbs. A sweet employee carried it out to the car for me. There are lots of fun toys for cats and dogs, as well as treats. Thank you!

I took my 7 month old puppy for the first time. (I have been there multiple times, but the 1st trip for my puppy). The staff is always very welcoming and friendly. Katie, my puppy, was give a special treat and a St. Patrick's Day neckerchief. We both loved the visit. We purchased "no-hide" bones for Katie.
