Employees are always super friendly and helpful; Taylor (who grooms our dogs) specifically is one we see every time we are in and is awesome. The store usually has everything I'm looking for and then some. Hours are very convenient as well. They often have helpful sales.

We had such an incredible experience at Chuck & Don’s thanks to Marty, Aneika, and Hailey. We came in with a very complicated situation: four dogs, each with completely different needs and this team handled it with patience, honesty, and genuine care. Even though there wasn’t a single product that would work perfectly for all four dogs, they didn’t try to push anything on us just because it was on their shelves. Instead, they took the time to understand each dog’s personality, diet, and sensitivities, and then pointed us toward local butcher shops that could give us exactly what we needed. That kind of integrity is rare. They put our dogs’ wellbeing first, not sales numbers. I have two border collies, and I have been looking for a groomer since my regular groomer left the area. All the places I went to were a disaster. I thought I would give Chuck and Don’s a shot since I read in the owner’s bio that she had border collies. I booked appointments with Sharon because she has dogs with similar coats. Omg!! My dogs looked gorgeous when I picked them up. If you have border collies, you know the amount of hair they shed every day. Let me tell you, it has almost been 3 weeks and there is still only a fraction of hair being shed compared to what I am used to and their coats are still soft, shiny, and beautiful. When I pet them, I don’t have hair all over my hands and clothes. This is a HUGE deal for me. I will definitely book again with Sharon. I also want to add that everyone I interacted with in the store was kind, attentive, and professional.

My Doberman, Sina, was diagnosed with cancer and was expected to live for a month or two. I wanted to make her remaining time the best ever and give Sina her favorite things: car rides, treats, and dog-friendly people. I started taking her to the Roseville Chuck and Dons where Sina was showered with attention and treats. Sadly, she passed away only two weeks after her diagnosis, but her visits to the store made those two weeks a happy time.
