My first visit at Cat Therapy was a great experience.The front desk attendant remained professional and resolved an appointment error that was committed by my sister and I. We mistakenly set our appointment at the wrong date. The readiness and friendliness of the person working front desk, nice atmosphere, and concise cafe’s guidelines was greatly appreciated. The cats in the establishment were super adorable. I advise those interested in visiting to set an appointment in the morning if possible as the cats are more active during those hours.

I had been wanting to visit a cat lounge for a while, and this was such a relaxing stop in downtown Santa Barbara. The space is home to foster cats, and you can spend time sitting with them, petting them, or just watching them play. It was calm, well maintained, and a fun break from walking around State Street. If you’re a cat lover—or just want a quiet hour in your day—it’s worth stopping by. Bonus: every visit helps support cats waiting for their forever homes.

This was a great spot to go visit some feline companions during our month away from home. It is a cool setup with lots of spots for the kitties and toys you can use to temp them. We got there during afternoon nap time, so less active, but still enjoyable and sponsors a good cause.

My son and I came to visit during our vacation here. We've never been to anything like this and we love cats. We have two furbabies at home. While i found it relaxing to be around other cats, my son found it difficult to enjoy at first because a lot of the cats were sleeping, and the few that were awake were getting attention from other kids that were there, and then when those kids left, those specific cats also fell asleep. It happens, and he did ask to come again next time. We may try an earlier time instead of the afternoon hours and see if the cats are more awake. Very cute setup tho and there were a variety of toys to choose from to play with the cats. Would highly recommend visiting!

I loved it. Perfect for cat persons that can’t own a cat for whatever the reason (ME). Perfect to sit relax and enjoy the environment. It was fairly clean as clean as you can have a cat area. You get in pay, take your shoes off, put the optional socks they offer if you want or not. You get in the cat area, sit down anywhere and wait for the cats to come to you or you can sit near them and wait patiently for their cuddles. There’s a $12 15 min option or an hour for I forgot the $$ amount. I recommend it to anyone that is an animal lover or cat lover. Enjoy!!!
