About Canine Design

Located at 5648 Emporium Square, Columbus, OH 43231, Canine Design operates as a pet groomer serving Columbus in Ohio. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 7:30 am–3:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Canine Design at (614) 891-2955; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 76 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pet groomers in Columbus.

I called on Saturday morning and the gentleman told me to go ahead and bring in my girl. I stated she is a puppy and has never had nails trimmed before. He stated no worries we will take good care of her. I asked if I needed an appointment and he stated nope. We arrived and was greeted by a very nice man and remembered that he spoke to me earlier. My girl warmed right up to and allowed him to pick her up and put her on the table. He did what he needed to do to make her safe. The whole time he was talking to making her feel calm. He told me my part and the entire time he was so positive and relaxed with her. He was great my girl did great!! We will definitely return to get all of our grooming!!

My mini goldendoodle puppy needed his 1st haircut. The team was great with him. The puppy has been my 80 yr mom son. She loved combing his long hair now it is soft and he smells good. A lemongrass shampoo was used. If you want kind and professional groomers Canine Design call. There is a waiting period❤🐕🐶✌🏽

I've used numerous dog groomers for 15 years in multiple states. Canine Design ranks at the very top of the list for their patience, knowledge, and thorough-yet-kindly care. Both of my dogs currently go there - one is a large, furry one who needs full services and one is a PITA (but much loved) chihuahua mix who SCREAMS bloody murder when they file his nails (which is why I don't do them at home). They do an awesome job with both dogs! Highly recommend!

I just need to again rave about how great these people are! They did an AMAZING job. My golden doodle they get her so even and fluffy you can see her muscles underneath! Cory and his wife are wonderful, honest, hard working people. Always friendly and flexible. We tried to switch groomers as it is not a convenient location for me anymore... well we had to switch back. Just wasn’t the quality and consistency I was used to. They’re in a weird location but I am just so happy we found them! The reviews are right they know what they are doing.
