In Lakeland, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Florida, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 9 am–9 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Lakeland is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Jennifer and Cody from By the Bay Grooming were such a delight! My anxious, shy guy, Ollie, went right up to Cody and loved him immediately. Both of my dogs were pretty "chatty" and the groomers were so sweet to them. Afterwards, Nala and Ollie smelled great and their coats felt so soft, nails were trimmed and buffed, ears cleaned out. Very kind groomers! We hope to see them again in the future!

Full service Mobile Dog Grooming by professional, friendly groomers. My fur buddies love them ❤️ when they pull up in their Big Dog trailer it's excitement and wagging so you know they're doing it right! They attentive to your dog and their overall health, quickly noticing any new developments in physical or mannerisms. They honestly care about their furry clients and pay very close attention to them. Scout & Ranger love them! Miss Jennifer and her Team are outstanding🏅👏❤️

1st time client who will now be a reoccurring client. I had my 2 Goldens receive a Full Golden Retriever service. I was extremely happy with the way my Goldens came home looking like a Show Retriever. They are over 8 years old and to some everything up would be STUNNING. The team showed Kindness, Patience and a true compassion towards my Babies ( Goldens ) So if you want to give your puppies a real Spa Treatment right outside your front door I highly recommend By the Bay Groomers. Ps, their teeth looked amazing you would have thought they just came back from the dentist for a whitening treatment. Thank you to all of you for a Fantastic service. M Peoples

In the past, when I took Molly to other groomers, I felt like crap leaving her because she would shake uncontrollably. From the 1st time Molly met Brenda and Jennifer, they both took time with her to make her feel comfortable. Molly is 95% blind and for them to make that effort really put us at ease. Brenda and Jennifer have groomed Molly several times, and I will NOT be using anyone else. They come to the house, their prices are reasonable, and their both compassionate. Need I say more? Before and after pics of the 👸.
