Best Laundromat Hartford

Pretty old machines Mostly smaller ones. Restrooms locked say out of order. Overall Not very clean. Very busy. Machines look like they are not clean & NO sanitized washes available. Attendant yelling across the floor to talk to kids about behavior. Large parking lot. Some customers asleep in the chair. Looked like homeless.

My daughter visited this laundromat this past weekend and had a very upsetting experience. A man who was not doing laundry asking for money and when she declined, he followed her around and made inappropriate comments. She chose not to escalate the situation she was there with my grandson. No customer should be placed in that situation. What concerns me is that employees were there and did nothing to intervene or ensure her safety. I'm not sure if this is considered normal here, but it absolutely should not be. I'm sharing this so women are aware and so the owner understands that safety should be taken seriously. No one should feel harassed or unsafe while doing their laundry.

Super clean place, it’s card operated $10 minimum to add money to the card. They do have a bill breaker up to $20 bill. If you wash you get free drying and can always add more time if needed the lady who was working here was very helpful! Great customer service. 🙏

Was doing laundry and explained to the lady that I used machines 22,23 & 24 and that machine 24 didn’t grab enough water, was the first one to finish being the last one I put to wash . It finished 5 minutes before the rest having more time than the other 2. When I took out the clothes it’s was stinky. It didn’t not wash the clothes. I had to put more money in my card and pay again to wash my clothes again this time I used #23 because I saw that one was working fine. I took videos also because it was strange so I showed the lady the videos and she kept giving excuses like it was my fault and the settings of the water or that maybe I put too much clothes ( this one is the mega load and it was not completely full and I put the same amount of clothes on 23 and 24 ) I put the clothes to wash again on 23 and clothes starts washing like its supposed to so I take another video and showed her and she is still blaming and not being nice when I was being very polite. I showed her the videos in a nice way. I had to over pay and waste detergent the least she could do is be nice and acknowledge that the machine is not working. Won’t be coming back here.
