We initially came here because we saw Dr. Moulton had started working at this practice and she is a wonderful vet. But I was even happier when I realized this is a local, woman-owned practice that has not been enshittified by private equity. We could not be happier with our experiences at Berkeley Animal Hospital. Every member of staff: reception, techs, and doctors have exceeded our expectations. Their pricing is transparent and while it sometimes requires an assessment, it ensures they are set up to give the best care possible to that patient. The physical space and protocols are all built around what is best for the animal. We highly recommend Dr. Moulton but this is a strong team overall who have our trust.

I brought my two cats, Ketchup and Fries, to Berkeley Animal Hospital because they had fleas and tapeworms, and I had a great experience. I called in the morning, and they were able to see us the same day around noon, which was such a relief. The veterinarian was incredibly kind, patient, and took the time to answer all of my questions. The technicians and staff were wonderful too—they helped give my cats their medication and were so gentle and encouraging with them throughout the visit. The whole clinic was very clean, organized, and welcoming. You can tell everyone there genuinely loves animals, especially cats, and that made me feel much more at ease. The pricing is a little on the higher side, but honestly, the quality of care, friendly staff, and same-day appointment made it well worth it. I’m very grateful for the excellent care my cats received and would definitely recommend Berkeley Animal Hospital. Btw, my cats are much better now!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I honestly can’t recommend Berkeley Animal Hospital enough. Dr. Tejada and her team have taken such great care of my cat, Shakira. Dr. Tejada is incredibly thorough, patient, and genuinely caring. She takes the time to explain everything clearly and makes sure you feel comfortable with the plan moving forward. The staff is kind, organized, and you can tell they really love animals. Shakira always gets treated with so much gentleness and attention. If you want a vet who truly cares and a team you can trust, this is the place.

I’ve been extremely pleased with the care at Berkeley Animal Hospital. Their team is organized, responsive, and genuinely personable. It’s always easy to get in touch with them, they are open 7-days a week which makes scheduling appointments and timing drop-offs of samples easy, and they take the time to explain everything clearly without ever making you feel rushed. They’re always so patient and gentle with Paco, even when he’s being a little dramatic.

I moved to NorCal from SoCal and was sad to leave our long time vet. I did not think we'd find another good one. My furbaby had got sick and we needed a vet asap. I found Berkeley Animal Hospital online and decided to take a chance. I was really impressed by the love and care my baby got from Dr Holliday. I'm so happy I made the choice of going there! I have been going now for 3 years, and I am completely confident that my baby will be loved and cared for and most importantly that I am not being overcharged! We love going to Berkeley Animal Hospital! Thank you Dr Holliday for all you do!
