Bellwood Animal Hospital

I recently switched to Bellwood from another clinic. The previous clinic I was going to was ignoring my concerns about health issues my rescue Chihuahua Wasabi was having, and they were doing the bare minimum to care for her basic health needs. The difference between that clinic and Bellwood is night and day. The front desk staff at Bellwood are so kind and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door. Wasabi and I have seen Dr. Lind twice, and she is beyond amazing. She took her time to listen to what's been going on, talked me through multiple treatment options, and is actively working with me to make sure Wasabi is healthy and happy. And, unlike the other clinic, the entire staff - from the front desk staff to the vet tech to Dr. Lind - are incredibly kind and patient with Wasabi. They don't treat her like an annoying, mean Chihuahua who needs to be muzzled and aggressively restrained. Yes, they did need to muzzle her once, but they did everything they could to avoid it, including comforting her, talking to her, and just being kind humans to her. I was absolutely shocked (in a good way) when Dr. Lind wanted to hold her. Seeing people treat my scared little baby w

Always good with our cats. My one cat was peeing blood and they got me in next day. Walked me through everything throughly and explained everything to me. Told me what to watch for and when to take to the ER if needed. Our cats have been going here for at least 3 years and we like the service we are provided.

I recently moved and switched vets. I chose Bellwood in part because my family brought our family cat to them for almost 20 years. Dr. Jallen was the vet in our latest appointment. He was kind, patient and gentle with my cat. He explained things in plain language so that I understood. He eased my concerns and took time to answer my questions. I highly recommend Bellwood for your pet’s care!

We are very happy with the care our large dog gets at Bellwood Animal Hospital. Dr. Lind is very knowledgeable and thorough when taking care of our hard to handle big boy. She takes her time with him and doesn't push him so as not to overstress him. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend them to care for your furbabies.
