Animal Clinic of Rockford

I would not recommend taking your animals here based on my recent experience. The customer service was highly unprofessional, and I felt treated with a complete lack of respect. I actually had to go back and forth in a frustrating debate with a staff member just to obtain my own animal's medical records. Furthermore, in my opinion, the building facility did not meet acceptable cleanliness standards. If you expect straightforward communication and a clean environment for your pets, I suggest looking elsewhere.

I'm sorry this is so late. Should have done this years ago. I got referred to Animal Clinic of Rockford when my original vet's office got hit by a tornado. I was quite timid at first because my family and I had been going to that vet for over 40 years. I don't trust easy when it came to my Dog. To say my expectations have been met would be an understatement. Dr. Patel and his team are professionals packed with knowledge, care, and compassion. For the short time (compared to my last vet) of 4 years I had the privilege of taking my Husky to be cared for by Dr. Patel and his team, I absolutely would not take him anywhere else. His yearly check up was always filled with going through Oscar's chart and making sure we revisit the concerns from previous visits as well as new concerns if there was any. With all the normal stuff, there was also the in depth stuff. He handled my dog's surgery to remove a lump that was bothering him. Which turned out to be cancer after sending it for testing. The team was very compassionate to my nerve racking approach. I will never forget picking my fur-ball up when he was ready. The moment I walked in, I could hear him howling and talking and knew my boy

Just called this place and the receptionist declined to take a message for a doctor to call me back and also slammed the phone. Very unprofessional and fake smiles and fake attitudes. They pretend to be all nice and have bubbly personalities. But when you actually ask to speak to the doctor they hang up. Update response to your fake answer: I wasn't asking about prescription drug, anything about the animal's health. I was trying to get general information about the over the counter drug. And your bs part where you "try to raleally hard to help YOUR clients..." means if i offered to pay to speak with doctor you would transfer me right away... you guys are horrible! You are not even hiding that you are just after tge money. Nothing else matter to you...

Ive been going to this clinic for years. Today, I brought my 13 week old Morkie for her booster shots & a check up. She was extremely calm and comfortable the whole time. They handled her with such care. I dont beleive I will ever change vets. Its a small clinic. Everyone there is very honest & real with you. In the 11 years I've gone here, I've never once felt taken advantage of, lied to, overpriced or sold anything unnecessary. Some places will just run you through your appointment like an assembly line because they only want your money. This clinic is everything BUT that. I trust them completely with all of my pets and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinarian.
