If you need somewhere safe to board your dogs without worrying about their health or wellbeing, Barks is the place to go!!! We recently had both our babies boarded there for a week for vacation. Unfortunately , our German Shepherds protested this vacation. Both dogs had diarrhea the whole week. Caitlin the manager and all the staff kept me updated hourly or daily on their progress. They were even sweet enough to swing by my vet clinic to pick up appropriate meds to help treat them. This was way beyond my expectations and I am so grateful they took such great care of both Isla and Hugo. We even had them bathed before coming home and the groomer (sorry I can’t remember their name) was so sweet and took care with them in making sure they were nice and clean before coming home. If your dogs do not play well with others they offer suite stays and get one on one time with staff. So rest easy your pup is not being neglected! They have cameras in the areas that you can access to see your pup. If you do not see them you can call them and see what schedules look like and they will let you know when they will be in a certain area. Thank you to the entire team who took such great care of Isl

We boarded at barks for Christmas and came home to our dog with calluses on his elbows which has never happened before when we’ve boarded him elsewhere and he smelled so strongly of ammonia it took a week of continuously bathing him to get the smell out. We were told he’d be in the doggy daycare area during the days and I checked the cameras religiously and only saw him once. I have a lab mix who is roughly 95lbs and the sweetest boy but he has a lot of energy and needs to play which is why we boarded him but his whole stay he was locked up in his kennel. There was no report of him being aggressive or anything of that nature that would account for him being in time out from playing. He also came home looking a lot smaller than when he went in which makes me think he was not fed during his 10 day stay and I had brought bags of food for him (I provided about 3 days of extra food) and did not get the remaining food back and they said he had eaten all of it.

If I could leave more than 5 stars, BARKS would deserve it. My Husky mix is my baby and I trust very few people with him, but the staff at BARKS have gone out of their way to ensure he is always comfortable, happy, and well cared for. My pup is always so excited when he sees where we’re going, and I can tell he genuinely loves his friends at BARKS. If you need a good daycare or boarding facility, I cannot recommend BARKS enough. Also shoutout to Josh, it’s evident you’re in this business for the right reasons, and I cannot thank you enough for everything you’ve done for Arlo and I. 11/10 recommend!

Both my dogs go to BARKS twice a week for daycare. They absolutely LOVE it!! When I pick up their "daycare" leashes, they can't run to the door fast enough. The staff is amazing. They love the dogs and truly enjoy interacting with them. I've also boarded the dogs a few times and it was again, great experiences. I never worry about my dogs being there. The facility is also very clean. I'm very thankful for them. BARKS has my highest recommendation.
