In Missoula, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Montana, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Missoula is in Montana, in the Mountain West, where the high elevation brings cold snowy winters, warm dry summers and big day-to-night temperature swings; ski and summer tourist seasons shape opening hours in resort towns. Traffic in Missoula peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Great job with shampoo, nails, ears! I’ve been a couple of times and will be returning soon!

I was recommended by word of mouth that she was amazing. I asked for a summer cut as my pomeranian was hot and I return to a basically bald dog. I was horrified especially when she made the comment that my dog had no mats and had beautiful fur and she herself was questioning shaving her, she never stopped to clarify with me or call. My pomeranian has suffered from severe patches in hair growth from the shave being so close to the skin. Never will I bring my dog here again. I waited to make the review, but now months and months later and seeing the hair grow back or not grow at all made me write it.

So glad I found Tammy and Barks and Bubbles. Every other groomer I called was rude and dismissive. All I wanted was a nail trim for my dogs. Tammy told me to come in whenever and she would fit me in. That’s how you do business. Tammy you found a lifelong client! 👍🏼👍🏼

I'm pretty disappointed. $125 to shave my dog? I generally like to give people and businesses the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps my wife wasn't specific enough when she dropped our Golden Retriever off. She asked for a summer trim, we got the dog back shaved, and not even a particularly good shave job. Could have done that uneven of a shave job myself with some dull clippers found on the side of the road.

Tammy is AAAAAAAMAZING!!! Jax and I have never had a bad experience with her! Tammy takes the time to ask every time what I would like her to do and she listens to everything I ask her to do and not to do. Her attention to details and patience is a godsend! She will always find time to squeeze us in if needed and will accommodate even when she's fully booked! Photos below of Jax right after I picked him up on two separate occasions. My fluff ball is beautiful!!
