Barkberry

I popped in for the first time and bathed my own dog at one of their tubs. The process was easy, I absolutely love the product and tool selection and I had a great, easy time bathing my doodle. The staff was excellent and let me know how the process worked. $15 for available equipment to bathe a dog is stellar, imho.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing experience here! I brought my European Doberman, Apollo, in for a bath while I was visiting the area, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. From the moment I walked in, everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The facility was very clean and well-maintained, and they provided all the supplies I needed, which made everything so easy. The staff was incredibly helpful, professional, and made sure Apollo was comfortable the entire time. He came out looking absolutely handsome, clean, and smelling amazing! 🐾 This was my first time visiting, and I was truly impressed. If I’m ever back in the area, I will definitely be coming again. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great service and people who genuinely care about your pets. Say hello to my handsome boy, Apollo! ❤️

Everyone at Barkberry is so friendly and helpful. I took our toy poodle in and Korbel’s groom for her was perfection! Five gold stars! He was so kind and sweet with her. The turn around time was also great. I couldn’t ask for a better visit. Thank you so much!

I am beyond devastated and honestly angry about what was done to my dog. I brought her in for a wash and light grooming—nothing more—and we had clear communication about that. My dog was not matted and had a healthy, beautiful coat. They completely ignored those instructions and shaved her down to the skin. To make this even worse, they texted my girlfriend during the appointment asking if we wanted her shorter. She clearly responded “no shorter,” and they still went ahead and shaved her anyway. That is not a misunderstanding—that is outright ignoring the customer. This isn’t just a bad haircut. This is a complete failure of basic grooming knowledge. Australian Shepherds are a double-coated breed, and any competent groomer knows you do NOT shave them unless absolutely necessary. Shaving them removes their natural protection and can damage their coat long-term, putting the dog at risk. When I asked them about it, they gave excuses that didn’t line up with what actually happened and refused to take responsibility. I took my dog in to be groomed, not violated. This was careless, unprofessional, and unacceptable. A real professional would never put a dog in this position. Do not

Christina always does a great job with our dogs, and the entire Barkberry staff is friendly and welcoming. In particular, Allen and Ryan make it easy to schedule appointments, and are always friendly and helpful at check in and check out. Allen actually remembers our dogs’ names, and they remember and like him, which makes drop-off easy. And if Allen doesn’t actually remember names, he knows the daily schedule so well that it’s a very convincing performance. Regardless of how he does it, it is exceptional customer service. Like most other goods and services, Barkberry’s grooming prices have gone up substantially over the last few years. But if you’re looking for a grooming facility that takes great care of your dogs, does good work, and provides outstanding customer service, Barkberry in Fayetteville is an easy choice. You can find someone to do it cheaper, but I’d rather pay a few dollars more to know my dogs are going to be treated well. For dogs that don’t require trimming, Barkberry has a self-serve bathing option with elevated tubs and all the supplies you’ll need. If you have the time, or teenage kids you can conscript, it’s a great value. We use it when it’s too cold to ba
