Columbia is in Maryland, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Columbia is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Maryland's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Great experience! The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our visit. They did an amazing job playing with the dogs and monitoring them to keep everyone safe and happy. They went above and beyond for the people in our party with food allergies. The staff made sure we knew the exact ingredients and ensured they had options.

Bark Social is my new "happy place" Our dog, Rudy, a miniature schnauzer, was a pandemic puppy that I wasn't able to socialize well due to social distancing. As a result he has always been leash reactive with other dogs, flipping out anytime we encountered dogs on walks. I started walking him at night to reduce or eliminate those encounters. However, he has had some good off-leash play dates in our backyard with friends' dogs, so I thought we would try Bark Social. My husband and I first came twice to see how Bark Social was managed and how the dogs played together, realizing each day would be different. I saw several times when Bark Rangers would appear out of nowhere to separate dogs that were getting rough or exhibiting "inappropriate" behavior. I was quite impressed with everything. We finally brought Rudy yesterday. He was nervous and hesitant at first, but before long I could see his confidence grow as he explored the grounds and had positive interactions. Before long he found some friends and got in the mix chasing around. The Bark Rangers were also very kind, helping Rudy adjust and engaging him in play. I was so proud of Rudy and will definitely be bringing him

I took my pup to Bark Social in Columbia for a social visit and also just to check it out. I found this place to be very interesting and entertaining with all the different types of pups and dogs, young and old. Most of the dogs just roamed, ran around and also jumped on the table. They interacted with one another as if they knew one another and were definitely having fun! I loved how some of them would come up to you as if they were saying “hello” or wanted you to simply pet them. Unfortunately, my little pup hasn’t been socializing so she wasn’t having anyone around her (well, more so me…) However, the owners of the dogs who were there were very nice. We all seemed to be enjoying the day and the environment. Some of us socialized and introduced our pets with one another as our pets socialized. Honestly, everyone felt it was a relief to have our pets roaming free since the weather had just broken. While there, you can purchase food, soda, water, and other spirited drinks should you choose to. There were plenty of tables and chairs for you to choose where to sit or eat at. There is also an indoor section and a small gated area separated from the larger gated area. I can only assume

Bark Social is paws-down one of the best spots around…for both two-legged and four-legged guests. It’s the ulti-mutt hangout where dogs can run, wrestle, and make new fur-riends while their humans enjoy great drinks and food that are anything but ruff. My dog Blue absolutely loves it here…tails are wagging the moment we pull in. For Blue, Bark Social isn’t just a park, it’s basically a second home (and her favorite spot to socialize). Huge shoutout to the bar dream team: Daniel, Colleen, and Cynthia, who consistently deliver top-tier service with a smile and keep the good vibes (and drinks) flowing. They really know how to raise the bar. Equally deserving of tail wags are Sarah and Logan in the yard…always attentive, professional, and on top of keeping the play space safe, fun, and well-managed. They clearly know how to handle a pack and do it with ease. If you’re looking for a place with great energy, friendly staff, and a setup that lets everyone unleash a good time, Bark Social is the pick of the litter. Blue and I will definitely be back for more bark, brews, and belly rubs. 🐾🍻
