About Bark Louisville

Bark Louisville is a pet groomer in Louisville, Kentucky. It is listed at 713 E Broadway, Louisville, KY 40202, which places it among the local businesses of Louisville that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as pet boarding service, dog day care center, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

Louisville is in Kentucky, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Louisville follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I love Bark and my dogs have looked forward to doggie daycare weekly for the last few years. Unfortunately they have determined that my two year old pit, who has been been going there since he was a puppy becomes "over stimulated" at times when he's there. Let's be clear "over stimulated" is code for aggressive. Yes, he's a pit. Yes, he weighs 90 pounds. So, yeah big dog. But factually there are larger dogs there. I have always watched the webcam when they're there, judiciously one could say. What I saw last weekend caused me to watch the Bark webcams all this past week to verify if other "over stimulated" dogs were treated the same as mine. Nope. Not one dog did I see being led around the play yard with a slip leash. BTW the webcams were offline much of the time yesterday. The commentary about the staff standing around on their phones is absolutely true. The dogs coming home reeking of urine and excrement, again, true. Because my pit becomes "over stimulated" they began putting him in "timeouts". When I questioned it they explained it provides an opportunity for him to calm down and then they bring him back out to play. Fine. Mind you I have never once witnessed the "over

Aaron has been grooming my Yorkie, Peanut Butter, for over 3 years, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else! He is so patient and gentle, and you can tell he genuinely cares about the dogs he works with. Peanut Butter always looks and smells amazing after every visit. I’m so grateful we found him! It gives me so much peace that he is in great hands. Highly recommend 👌🏾

I LOVE BARK!!! My dog is a rescue and was badly abused at a puppy mill for several years. I spent $$$$ on training to try and help him adjust and heal. But it was the kindness and love from BARK that has changed him and made him a happier dog. When I drop him off he leaps out of my arms and walks himself back without even turning around. And when I pick him up it is the happiest I have ever seen him, he is FULL of energy. I can’t express enough gratitude for all the employees there that work so hard to take care of him.

We love Bark Louisville! My dog Buddy goes for both daycare and grooming. He loves daycare and playing with the staff and his dog friends, and he sleeps like a baby every night after coming home. The holiday parties they have are so fun and cute. The grooming has been excellent and affordable. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend bark!
