Bannerman Pet Care

I had my senior dog's dental done here. She has fear aggression so I'm always nervous to take her anywhere let alone to a new vet. Bannerman Pet Care made me feel at ease that they treated her kindly and with patience. I would highly recommend them. Their prices are also very reasonable.

We cannot say enough good things about Bannerman Pet Care! During the last hurricane to hit Florida, our family had to evacuate from Tampa Bay to Tallahassee with our senior dogs. It was a last-minute decision, and we didn’t have our dogs' vet records with us, which became a challenge when we looked for a place to bathe them before staying with family. Every groomer and vet we contacted required these records, but Bannerman Pet Care was different. After explaining our situation, they checked with Dr. Lynda Thabes, who kindly agreed to help. The team at Bannerman was incredibly compassionate and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Not only did they do a wonderful job bathing and brushing our dogs, but they also showed genuine concern for our situation and well-being. It might seem minor, but having our dogs freshly groomed relieved us of stress during an already difficult time. Their willingness to help out strangers in need speaks volumes about their dedication and kindness. If we lived in Tallahassee, Bannerman Pet Care would be our go-to vet without question. Thank you, Dr. Thabes and team, for being there for us and our pets when we needed it most!

By far one of the better vets I have been to. We have been taking our pups here exclusively for the last year and I would not go anywhere else! Highly recommended. They do grooming as well - very convenient!

Dr. Thabes, Heather, Lori, Eric, and the rest of the team are some of the most caring people in town. 13 years ago, Dr. Thabes saved our family golden from bloat - and she is still alive to this day! This week, Dr. Thabes' judgement saved my hound from a bad situation. Wilson is a 2 year old hound mix with a ton of energy and we had a bad experience with our previous vet getting irritated with him during visits. Dr. Thabes and staff never fail to make both me and Wilson feel comfortable and cared for. This week, he was throwing up and it was recommended I bring him in to BPC. After being examined by Dr. Thabes, she personally called me to explain her recommendation of taking him to Capital Vet Specialists for an ultrasound. It turns out he had swallowed part of a tennis ball and they were able to get it out before needing to go to surgery. I fully trust Dr. Thabes' judgement and caution and I am so thankful for her staff and practice.

I can't imagine bringing my dog anywhere else for veterinary and grooming services. The Vets and staff are so helpful and attentive and they truly care about the animals and people that visit them. My dog Max is very excitable and usually people can't take his energy level but Bannerman Pet Care has no problem with handling him. If I have any questions about his care or health they are always a phone call away and will bend over backwards to make sure I have everything I need to make him happy and healthy.
