As the Fur Flies

We’ve only had great experiences at As the Fur Flies. They are experts at what they do - no lopsided cuts or choppy shave jobs. They are a fear free organization, which is great for our anxious pups. They provide accurate time estimates, which hasn’t always been my experience with other groomers - when they say an hour and a half, they mean it! After the appointment, they send a report card with before and after pics and a short summary of the session, so you know exactly how it went. I’ve never had to wait longer than a week for an appointment. On the website, they may look like they’re fully booked, but if you text them, there may be an earlier opening. The pricing is reasonable - there are cheaper groomers out there, but for our family, the extra cost is worth it. 10/10, couldn’t recommend them enough.

Took my dog to get his first bath here in Austin and Ada did a wonderful job! My dog is an older Pom and he can get anxious, but he came out happy and looking handsome! I appreciate that they send you pictures of your dog. We will definitely be back :)

My 3 doodles have been groomed by Christy at Stasney Ln. location for 4 years! She is the absolute Best groomer. So kind and gentle. My dogs have zero anxiety going to see her and are happy and relaxed when I pick them up.

I’ve been bringing my standard poodle to As The Fur Flies since January 2024. He’s a very anxious rescue, and Ada and Morgan have taken exceptional care of him. Over the past two years, they’ve patiently earned his trust and helped him feel safe and comfortable with grooming. Their skill and compassion truly stand out, and I highly recommend them, especially for poodle owners!

Ivy did a really wonderful job grooming my pup! $120 for full service groom with nail trim and teeth brush and it was done in 2 hours. His cut looks immaculate, staff was kind, the place was clean and calm, and again it was very quick. We got our moneys worth for sure - there are cheaper places but this is by far the best haircut he’s gotten in Austin. Will definitely be going back!
