Vets and pet-health businesses handle what a groomer cannot. General veterinarians and animal hospitals do checkups, vaccinations, dental cleanings, spaying and neutering and sick visits; emergency and 24-hour vets treat injuries and sudden illness at night and on weekends; mobile vets come to the house; rehab centers offer physical therapy, hydrotherapy and acupuncture; and pet pharmacies fill prescriptions and sell prescription diets. Groomers often spot skin problems, ear infections, lumps or overgrown nails first and will suggest a vet visit.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 7:30 am–6 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Georgetown is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Georgetown follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My dog had severe dental problem and several vets in the area couldn't see her. I stopped at Zoot and fortunately they could see her. After surgery she has been doing great. Zoot is great at what they do. Minnie thanks you for your work! Happy dog.

I cannot say enough great things about Zoot! Dr. Miller is our pup's doctor and she has been awesome. We have used their boarding, daycare, and grooming services too. It has been wonderful to have such a great team provide seamless care. Krisandra is our primary groomer and she does such an amazing job with our anxious pups. They always look amazing when we pick them up....especially the corgis with rounded bottoms. Too Cute!

I cannot recommend Krisandra enough! She did an absolutely amazing job grooming my Siberian Husky, and anyone who knows Huskies knows how much work their coats can be. She was incredibly patient, gentle, and clearly experienced with double-coated breeds. My husky came home looking and smelling amazing, with a soft, fluffy coat that was perfectly deshedded. She paid attention to every detail, and you could tell she genuinely cared about my dog's comfort throughout the entire grooming process. Not only is Krisandra talented, but she's also kind, professional, and great at communicating. If you're looking for a groomer who goes above and beyond, Krisandra is the one to see. <3

You get what you pay for! Yes - boarding is expensive at Zoot. But the attention and care my dog receives here ALONG with the fact that should any issues /injury/sickness arise for some reason, vets are literally in the same building for care make the cost worth it for me. Exit bath included is an added bonus. I'm purchasing a good time for my dog and peace of mind for myself.

My wife and I wanted to share our experience with Zoot in hopes it helps other pet owners avoid what we went through during our dog’s stay in August. We brought our 6-year-old Golden Retriever, Moose, to Zoot on July 22nd for their First Day of Daycare Evaluation. He passed with flying colors — the staff said he did great, the drop-off and pick-up process was smooth, and everyone was friendly. The quote on their invoice, “Peace Of Mind For You And Your Pet,” made us feel confident choosing Zoot as our boarding option while we were out of town. Unfortunately, the actual boarding experience during our baby-moon trip was the opposite of “peace of mind.” On August 7th, I received a call saying Moose had been in a “little scuffle” and needed “a few stitches,” but that everything was fine and there was no reason to come home early or have family pick him up. When we returned, the reality was far more serious. We learned Moose had been attacked twice, back-to-back, by two XL Bully sisters who were there for their own evaluation. The first dog latched onto his neck long enough that staff had to physically pull her off. Shortly after, the second sister attacked him as well — while he wa
