I can’t say enough good things about Zen From Within and Melita’s work. I was especially amazed by the Flower Essence tincture - it truly made a difference for my dog, Aries. She’s a rescue that I took in from off the streets, and she’s always been very sensitive and easily scared, especially when it comes to things like rain, thunder, fireworks, etc. After using the Flower Essence, I noticed such a calming shift in her. She’s now able to go on walks with me even when it’s raining, which is something she would have never done before. That alone speaks volumes. Melita clearly pours so much intention and care into what she does, and it shows in the results. I’m so grateful we found Zen From Within - highly recommend to anyone looking for gentle, effective support for both themselves and their pets.

“Zen From Within” is a peaceful state of being and also the name of a unique and growing business founded by Melita Mollohan. She is the heart and soul of the business, which offers various holistic and wellness services not easily found elsewhere. Melita is amazing! She is a highly gifted, skilled and dedicated herbalist and holistic practitioner. I began seeing her over two years ago after a disappointing medical scan that left me anxious and confused. I was searching for better nutrition and a more holistic approach to wellness than pharmaceuticals; and by a stroke of good fortune, I was referred to Melita by another one of her very satisfied clients. I had been suffering from severe pain from an SI joint/hip/low back issue for weeks when I decided to try Bowen Therapy at Zen From Within with Alyson. At my first session she checked in with me concerning what pain I was feeling and where. We started with once a week sessions. I really did not think I would see results as soon as I did, but I immediately experienced relief after my first session. After 5 sessions, the results were fantastic! Alyson was very thorough and always checked in with me to see how I was feeling physically so that she could have a plan of action for that day’s session. Each session was tailored to what my body was feeling. Alyson even explained to me what she was doing and pulled out diagrams for me to look at (I’m a science teacher and this really fed into my scientific nature). Alyson also checked in with me a few days after each session to see how I was feeling. I had weekly sessions for a month and biweekly sessions for a couple of months. I now go every one to two months, when I can, for a “tune up”. The results have been nothing short of amazing! My pain has greatly diminished and I can do so much more than I could before starting Bowen.

So thankful for Melita!!!!! As I approach my 30th anniversary of going to a low carb diet for a medical issue, I remember how lost I felt and how many mistakes I made along the way in those early years. I was totally on my own to figure it out. This year marks my 10th anniversary of finding Melita. I first found her for private yoga. Then I started with Bowen Therapy. I didn’t know why I was in constant pain that was worse some days than others. Then through facebook, joint hypermobility and Ehlers Danlos were put on my radar. This gave me a reason for many of the weird things I experienced. Melita has been instrumental in helping me understand what I was dealing with. I cannot recommend Melita with Zen From Within highly enough! She has been an absolute lifesaver, helping me with a kidney stone and even clearing up a skin issue on my cat’s ear — all through natural methods. Her products are truly incredible, and her deep knowledge and intuition make her stand out. Beyond her expertise, she is so kind, flexible, and helpful, making the entire process easy and uplifting.
