Yahr Complete K9s - Animal Training and Behavior

Lacy was the best! After our elderly dog passed we needed to increase training of our 3 and 1/2 year old golden doodle. Lacy was so kind and patient. For 4 weeks we worked with her on the basic behaviors to make Fiona a better socialized dog. We now have the steps to continue the customized training. Thank you Lacy!

I did a virtual consultation with YAHR and honestly, I was impressed! It took me awhile to sign up for classes but once I did, I noticed an improvement in both of my girls. Both continue to work on their skills and will continue signing them up for different classes to continue their growth and confidence building. It’s also clicker training which I’ve never done before and both girls are super responsive to it. I definitely recommend the classes.

Yahr Complete K9s saved the day for us when we took on a new puppy this year! They offered a very structured puppy training program and were still able to keep it individualized and tailored to what our yellow lab and us needed at any given week. We even had an SOS call when the biting/teething really got extreme and they sorted it out real quick! The resources and training has payed off tenfold and we cannot sing Amy, Montana and all the staff at Yahr’s praises loud enough! Would highly recommend to anyone struggling with a dog, puppy or looking for a well developed training session/program.

I brought our puppy, Turbo, to day school for 6 weeks. It was amazing how quickly Turbo learned new cues each week. All the trainers are very helpful and very knowledgeable. I couldn't imagine taking Turbo anywhere else for training classes. I am excited to sign up for more classes as she gets older. Amy continues to get new certifications, which allows for a variety of classes to choose from. The most recent class offering I saw were the "Drink with your Dog" classes, which practice brewery manners. If you are on the fence about Yahr Complete K9's, I say take the leap. It is completely worth the price for the outcome.

Amy was awesome! Our Mini Bernedoodle just graduated his first round of training. He's learned all of the basic skills to give him a good starting point for further training. Beau is my first dog and Amy made it easy to pick up on good training ideas and techniques for a new dog owner. During training she always modeled the techniques first with our dog or her own - this made it easy and worthwhile. She made scheduling easy and was always willing to move appointments if necessary. I would recommend Amy to any of our friends or family who need a great animal trainer!
