Woof Beach whether it's Batavia, Geneva or South Elgin is always plus for grooming, because addition to the groomers it's also a dedicated dog training facility which means the staff has control of dogs that are not always good with others. The groomers are good, & there no drama bringing your dog which sometimes can be a problem at other groomers.

I love Joselyn at Woof Beach. She is a dog whisperer. She does an excellent job grooming my miniature schnauzer. I tried to groom him myself but he would bite me. Joselyn does it with ease, care and style. He always comes home happy and looking great. Prices are reasonable as well. I haven’t tried their training services yet but the dogs in there are all so well behaved. You can tell everyone at Woof Beach cares about what they do.

This review is specifically regarding the booking process: A better booking system is desperately needed. It's very frustrating that appointments can only be scheduled through the groomer directly. Getting in touch with someone to make an appointment often requires multiple phone calls, and many times I'm told a message will be left for the groomer, but I never receive a callback. The staff answering the phones should be able to schedule appointments on the groomers' calendars rather than acting as a middleman. In today's world, an online booking system or centralized scheduling process should be standard. Implementing a modern booking system would make the experience much more convenient for customers and would prevent unnecessary phone tag.

We adopted a Saint Bernard with a lot issue's, so we was looking for a training place we could trust! I remembered mine former bosses doges, was very good behaved and she told me, she got them trained at Woofbeach in Batavia. So we made our appointment with Cameron and we seeing him and Issak for a couple weeks, and there did an amazing job with Jack! He has changed and is getting better and better each time we are there! We are so happy, we able to have found Cameron to help us, to make Jack a good dog again! Thank you so much!!!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Woof Beach and Cameron, the head trainer, in particular! They truly take the time to listen to my experiences, understand my pups’ personalities, and guide me with thoughtful, practical advice. Every session leaves me feeling more confident, and the progress my dogs have made has been incredible. The support, patience, and expertise they bring to each interaction has made all the difference. I’m so grateful for the positive outcomes we’ve achieved together. Highly recommend!
