This was my first visit to Woodhouse Spa and I will definitely return. I experienced the most wonderful 110 minute massage by Liza using a combination of hot stones and deep tissue techniques. Then I thoroughly enjoyed an 80 minute facial given by Larisa. Everything about my Woodhouse experience was A+.

I regularly visit Woodhouse Spa Avalon whenever I need to relax, unwind, and reset. From the moment I walk through the doors, I feel like I can finally exhale. The entire staff is consistently professional. They are courteous, attentive, and genuinely committed to creating a peaceful and luxurious experience. My favorite treatments are the Signature Luxury Foot Retreat and the Firm and Renew Facial. One of the things I especially appreciate about the WH Foot Retreat is the attention to detail. Unlike some salons that pull out the big cheese-grater-looking tool to work on calluses, the nail technicians at Woodhouse use a file instead. It leaves my feet feeling incredibly soft for weeks. I have also been impressed by every esthetician I’ve worked with. They take the time to explain each treatment, answer questions, and make thoughtful recommendations. They are especially knowledgeable about products and treatments that work well for melanated skin, which makes the experience feel both personal and informed. My husband and I visited over Father's Day weekend. We've been loyal Woodhouse Spa guests for more than 10 years, typically visiting the Nashville and Avalon locations. There used to be a Chattanooga location, which is where we first fell in love with the Woodhouse experience. The highlight of our recent visit to Avalon was our massage therapist, Jacobi. Her hands are truly blessed! My husband and I were both incredibly impressed with her technique, and we agreed that she gave us the best massages we've ever had. She is exceptionally talented, and we will absolutely request her again on future visits. The reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because of the arrival policy. I wasn't able to enjoy the relaxation lounge and amenities until 30 minutes before my appointment. One of the things I've always loved about Woodhouse is arriving an hour or two early to unwind and fully enjoy the peaceful atmosphere before my service. Thankfully, the Avalon Hotel across the street allowed us to check in early. Otherwise, I would have had to wait nearly two hours before my appointment. I visited Woodhouse Spa for my birthday and was genuinely excited to leave a 5-star review. The atmosphere was beautiful, and my couples massage with Amanda and Marie was absolutely amazing. They were both professional, attentive, and provided an incredible experience. Unfortunately, my overall experience was ruined afterward. I wore the spa slides that were provided during my visit, and within 2 days I noticed what looked like a small pimple-like bump on the bottom of my foot while putting on lotion after my shower. It quickly turned into painful blisters and I ended up with athlete’s foot. The only thing that came into contact with my bare feet that was out of the ordinary was the spa’s slides. This has me seriously questioning whether they are being properly sanitized between guests. If they aren’t, that’s a major health concern and completely unacceptable for a luxury spa. It’s disappointing because Amanda and Marie truly deserved recognition for the wonderful massage they gave us. They were fantastic. However, cleanliness and sanitation are just as important as great service, and because of this experience, I can’t recommend the spa until their sanitation practices are addr

I had the most amazing experience at Woodhouse. From the moment I walked in the door it was such a relaxing ambiance. I got the Deep Tissue and am so glad I was paired with Christianna! She ended up having availability for 80 minutes so I upgrade to the 80 minute and I am so glad I did! She truly customized my massage to my needs, pain points, and comfort level. She was extremely attentive and helped guide me to relax as I am a very tense person. She made my experience relaxing and truly incredible while offering (requested) advice to help me with many pain areas. This was ultimately the best massage I have ever had and just overall experience. I have already booked my next appointment!
