In Medical Lake, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Washington, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

I can’t express how well these individuals took care of my cat! They treated her so well and were very attentive. She was such a happy camper with her cat patio! Thank you!

Cheap, and it reflects. If your dog is potty trained they will be miserable holding it till they can’t. We picked our dog up and everything including him was covered in urine. Didn’t realize you had to pay extra for them to go outside. Our dog threw up about three days worth of food after we returned home, was extremely dehydrated, and is clearly malnourished after puking. The kennels are tiny and they sleep in a box. Read the one star reviews always! I saw 4.3 stars and figured it was a decent place to board, now I feel terrible about leaving my dog with them.

Took my dog here for a week and came back and he was underfed and dehydrated to the point he started vomiting when we got him home. After seeing all of the other reviews on here I would love to gather some evidence of these people and call the county to get them shut down. If anyone is interested feel free to reply to this.

We needed boarding for the holiday weekend because our other plans for our dogs fell through last minute, we called these guys up at west wind kennels and they were very kind and were able to get our dogs in for boarding last minute. They have very fair pricing for boarding. Another bonus, they also do grooming! Our girls came back so soft and very well de-shedded. They seem to have had a great stay!! I'm so thankful to west wind kennels for watching our dogs, we will definitely be going here from now on when needed. Thank you so much!

If there was an option for zero stars I’d put that! I left my 3 dogs in this kennel over Memorial Day weekend 22. Apparently they are under new management. I would NEVER bring any animal here. They ask you to bring food in a tub for your animal. I bagged am and pm feedings individually for each of my babies and had them clearly marked and separated for ease of feeding. Two of my dogs have extreme anxiety and one of them has medication for it. The 100lb puppy was not fed over the weekend, has a scrapes on his nose from pushing on the lid, probably wanting food and is limping. Only one of the dogs feedings were gone. And one bag of the feedings from the other two were gone. When I called, the new owner, Patrick seemed like it was normal and wouldn’t even consider partial reimbursement and abruptly ended the conversation, hanging up on me. After he tried telling me my dogs were playing with other dogs through the gate- which is not a thing. My German Shepard is dog aggressive through fences. The lies came so easily for him. No compassion and doesn’t care about the well-being of the animals in his facility- just the money. I am appalled by the integrity of not only the facility, but hi
