i've always had a huge heart for animals. in my 22 years i've been lucky enough to love 6 dogs and 4 cats, volunteer at shelters, and even spend one of my birthdays volunteering at best friends animal sanctuary in kanab. me and my dad have also taken in 3 stray cats over the years. that's why i can genuinely say the people at this shelter care. you can tell they're here because they love animals. i fostered (and ended up adopting) burt from them, and even though i'm 30 minutes away, every experience i've had with them has been nothing but positive. real recognizes real.

Super disappointed. We brought in a cat that we wanted to get checked up and were told that once it’s clear we have a chance in adopting it. Despite calling throughout the week and checking to see if we are clear to come adopt the cat. We found out the cat had already been adopted and when we made it clear we wanted to adopt it when we brought it in.

Before my first doggy vacation, I had some questions so i called the front desk. Jonathan was super nice and answered all the questions i had in detail. I’m even more excited to have some quality time with these pups! I hope more animal shelters will follow in your footsteps (or pawsteps) 😂 because doggy daycations are a great idea.

Excellent experience so far with their community cat/TNR program. They do trap rentals for a period of 2 weeks at a time and allow volunteers to bring in 1 adult cat every other business day. It works so great for my schedule to not have to trap every cat all at once, and instead be able to trap and drop off the cats at my convenience during the week. The Community Cat Coordinator, Genevieve, is awesome at returning calls and answering questions. I especially appreciate that I'm not responsible for the cost of the spay/neuter and it's all funded by the state. I am low-income and this is the best option for someone in my position who wouldn't otherwise be able to help these street cats. It's also inspiring to see how many people are bringing in community cats for TNR. Thank you to everyone who is working so hard to make our furry friends' lives so much better by participating in TNR!
