I would not recommended this veterinary clinic to anyone. I brought my cat in for her shots, and the lady at the front desk & the vets assistant were very welcoming and kind. They were not the problem, the problem was the vet himself. He did not greet us upon coming into the room, he just began telling us how our cat had gained weight and all of the risks she faces. We told him about her diet that we have been changing, and he completely ignores everything we’re saying! He doesn’t give any recommendations or feedback on any of our concerns. He also did not ask if we had any questions for him, and he dismissed us quite quickly. I have never had such an unhelpful experience at a vet before, and I expect a lot more when it comes to my pet’s quality of care.

We have been going here for years with our cat. He was older and had several health issues. He recently started showing concerning breathing behaviors, so we brought him in and and they were extremely rough with him. He always gets agitated at the vet but they were not considerate and aggressively restrained him even though they could tell he was distressed. This sent him into another episode where he was unable to breathe properly and was extremely stressed out. We had to physically remove him from the vet techs hands because of how how rough they were continuing to be despite obvious signs he was not doing well. After this we tried to take him home only for him to pass away on the drive home in extreme distress. This whole incident was devastating for me. I would absolutely not recommend bringing a sick animal who gets scared at the vet to this business, they showed no special consideration for his condition and caused him to pass away sooner than he would have if we had not sought care from them.

From overnight stays at Paws Inn to the above and beyond service and friendliness for my dog and cats at the West Side Per Hospital - you won’t find a better team to take care of your furry friends. My lab has also had a surgery at this location that I was incredibly impressed by the talent of the doctor and team. Professional, compassion, and kindness are elevated to the level where my lab is quite literally wagging his tail when we arrive… at the vet! Thank you to the entire staff at West Side Pet Hospital and Paw’s Inn - for loving my pets ALMOST as much as I do. 🖤🐾🐕‍🦺🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛

The staff is always so friendly and I do not have to worry about if my animals are being treated properly. When I call or come in they know who my pets are and that gives me comfort and makes me feel they care. My fur babies are excited to see their smiling faces when they go.

I have a Goldendoodle pup, and she absolutely loves Dr Messal and their staff!!! She also goes to Paws Inn for boarding sometimes, and she lives it there too! When I need to get her in for vet visits, they do what they can to get her seen! This is a great Vet!
