I had to put my dog down last week at Waverly Veterinary Hospital. The entire process was handled with professionalism, thoughtfulness, and compassion. The staff and doctor were very kind and supportive during such a difficult time. They have a separate room for euthanasia, which gave us privacy and meant we did not have to walk through the hallway while grieving or feel uncomfortable around other people. At the end, the assistant helped us make a hair clipping, paw print, and nose print to take home at no additional cost. Their kindness and care brought us a great deal of comfort during a very painful experience.

twice I had a scheduled appointment and each time I would arrive early enough for my appointment. I would observe others arrive with there dog(s) and it call before me and my dog. the first time they said" she had a earlier appointment " but she came in late. today three others jumped in a room before me. and there excuse is unacceptable. when I questioned the reasoning, It was some mumbo jumbo about they have a particular dr., another said first come first serve, I was there. You have at least 4 customer service representatives and they are terrible. I hate to suspect it a racial thing, being that I'm the only black face in the building. I will report this to the bbb.

I am writing with a heavy heart to share both my grief and my profound disappointment with your office after receiving a check in text to get blood work. My cat passed away in January. In one of the most painful moments of my life, I called your office to ask about euthanasia options — a call that took every ounce of strength I had to make. Instead of compassion, I was met with a cold, dismissive representative who seemed entirely indifferent to the weight of what I was going through. That experience left a wound that has stayed with me. I want to be clear: Dr. Stuhler's care was exceptional, and I am deeply grateful for everything she did for my baby. She deserves to know the difference she made. But the years of trust, the countless visits, and the significant investment I made in your practice deserved better than what I received in my most vulnerable moment — with no follow-up, no acknowledgment, nothing. It is a failure I cannot overlook and I will not be returning to this office. On top of this treatment there was a time where a newer vet brought my cat back into the room with blood on her chest stating that she recommended that I run a blood test. AFTER taking a blood sa

I’ve spent my life learning to tell the difference between someone doing a job and someone committed to a mission. At Waverly Animal Hospital, it’s clear—they’re on a mission. I would do anything for my dogs, and the staff here doesn’t just hear that—they understand it. Over the years, they’ve earned my absolute trust through consistent, compassionate care. They don’t just treat pets—they connect with both the animal and the owner in a way that’s real. In my line of work, I see what it looks like when people check out. This team does the opposite—they lean in, they listen, and they care. You feel it every time you walk in the door. This is the only place I trust with my dogs’ lives. Period.
